L'Aubepine - Gite avec piscine et jacuzzi

We propose to you to rent, on the commune of Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie, this charming house with swimming pool and jacuzzi, of a surface of 140 m ² and being able to accomodate to 8 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 25 m² (with fireplace), a fully equipped kitchen, four beautiful bedrooms, a bathroom and you can enjoy a garden of about 700 m². Wifi (fibre optic, speed 900Mbits/s approximately), sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:

On the ground floor :
- A 25 m² living room with TV, fireplace (wood provided for free to start the living room), sofa (sofa bed for 2 people), armchairs and dining area.
- A fully equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, refrigerator with freezer section, filter coffee machine...
- Bedroom 1: a double bed (140×200).
- A bathroom with bathtub.
- Separate toilet.

On the 1st floor:
- Bedrooms 2 and 3: queen-size beds (160×190).
- Bedroom 4: a double bed (140×190).
- Separate WC.

Note: staircases are a bit steep, you have to be careful with your head at the top of the stairs for tall people.

Exterior:
- An above-ground swimming pool (private, heated), open from 1 May to 30 September, semi-buried.
- A jacuzzi available all year round for up to 4 people.
- A beautiful enclosed garden of 700 m².
- An 18 m² terrace, south-west facing with furniture to enjoy the nice days.

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: high chair, washing machine, baby bed, fan, barbecue, ironing board and iron.

The house is ideally located in Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie, in a very pleasant environment. You will be able to benefit from the proximity of all the essential shops but also from boutiques, restaurants, bars, market...

Lovely location and amenities
We stayed as a family of 4 (and dog) in August and enjoyed our stay. The location was great, with a shop, bakery and small park in walking distance, and Evron and Le Mans short drives away - a great base to explore the area. The property had everything we may need, including games consoles which was a pleasant surprise to our children. The pool and hot tub were welcome additions although the pool was nearly as hot as the hot tub! The only negative was the condition of the garden as a whole, which was rather unkempt and felt unloved. The grass was very long, full of weeds, and leaves everywhere (including lots in the pool that I had to clean first - a pool hoover was left but couldn't be charged), plus broken/uneven pathways (including the steps up the the property). This was somewhat disappointing given the price we paid, and given it could be so easily rectified with some basic gardening work. Overall though it didn't detract significantly from the overall experience, which was positive. (P.s. take lots of insect repellent as we had 100s of midge bites from an afternoon in the garden!)
