It was a nice and pleasant stay, it was just unfortunate that the location felt like an alleyway entrance and the construction on surrounding streets is not the hotel's fault, but did dampen my overall experience

This WAS my go to hotel
This property was a 'go to' hotel that I have visited countless times Despite the online check in my patience was tested as the two front desk workers seemed to have there hands full with the visitor before me as I stood for 15 minutes Then my turn as the worker bangs away on computer keys click click click Click click click click click.click.click Is there a problem? I regularly stay in this hotel but I’m not sure I will again. Our room way barely cleaned. The floor was covered in salt from the sidewalks. I wiped every surface with a Lysol wipe & so much dirt came off (including the toilet seat). The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see outside. The couch was covered in stains & burn marks. There were joint roaches on the balcony. And worst of all the heat would not work in the room. They also put us in a room next to one that was undergoing work. There were power tools being used & constant traffic in & out. I called after 8pm to ask for quiet as my toddler would not go to sleep with the noise. They were kind enough to stop the power tools 15 minutes later but the doors continued to open & slam shut. I am very disappointed in our stay especially given the money paid for an uncomfortable night of sleep.
