No antiskid bathtub mat
Overall, good facility & toiletries expected of a Hilton run hotel. However, this hotel does not have antiskid bathtub mat, when I requested. Other Hilton run hotel eg Double Tree had it on request. This hotel never had guest bathtub accidents? and was never anticipating one?

It was close to the hwy 404 had restaurants in walking distance. A restaurant on location. The rooms had WiFi and large toiletries fixed in the shower and washroom.

Additional charges for using towels??!
Beware of the frivoluous charges after your stay. Hilton garden inn in Markham claims, you apparently cannot use towels and linens, as they become "soiled" in their terms. Pardon me? Aren't Hilton washes towels and linen between guests? What does "soiled" mean in Hilton terms also remains unanswered. Also the exhaust in bathroom as well as shower faucet/shower head switch were not working properly and after two times complaining and asking to fix those, it was not done. Overall hotel is decent, however out of the blue additional charges and inability to fix plumbing issues erase positive expirience.

The extra pet charge was a last minute surprise. Would have chosen a different hotel based on the fee if known beforehand. The person behind the desk was pretty rude about paying the extra fee. The hotel was also chosen because of a pool but was under construction and not listed on online. This becomes really frustrating as the hotel tells us it’s not there problem and take it up with Expedia. Again nice hotel but terrible online clarification and rude staff.

I haven’t really used their bar nor their restaurant, but with my limited exposure to their facilities - you might think that everything is in top order. I will be a nitpicking on this; water fountain was not working and on the first day I asked them to fix the TV. 2 guys came and supposedly a 3rd would come but nothing. I let it go because it was getting cumbersome. Overall, it was a great experience. There were things that overlooked everytime we come back but the staff were able to quickly meet our needs. Cleanliness and security is my top priority and they have that. The location is not that bad as public transportation is extremely accessible.

1-When reserving hotel, it didn’t indicate pool and gym were closed. 2-Power went out for 3 hours 3-Air conditioner in room failed, we called front desk for maintenance, he said he fixed it but did not 4- room service did not replenish coffee, as directed

We booked a 1-night stay here with our toddler because it was almost $100 cheaper than the Sheraton across the street (far better hotel). We had no power from 8pm-1am. The hotel was not accommodating, no credits, no free breakfast etc offered to any guests. They said if you want to leave we won’t stop you when asked if they would issue refunds or credits. In hindsight, we should have paid a little extra and stayed at the Sheraton.
