This motel was supposed to be like the motel I had cancelled in Richmond hill through Expedia website which brought me to Scarborough area we wanted a motel near where we would be burying my mother which was in donmills area not Richmond hill area the staff at best western Richmond hill were very rude would only cancel one room not both to get a closer motel we told Expedia what we wanted we arrived at can pacific we expected 2 nights with free breakfast indoor pool pet friendly we got no free breakfast outside pool very dirty had to pay $50 for a 4lb small dog we had a five year old expecting to go swimming indoors no had to pay extra to eat breakfast not happy with can pacific or Expedia will never recommend will be speaking to management and could go further to Expedia management since they recommended this motel to meet same motel as in Richmond hill which shouldn’t even been on Scarborough website for motels that I wanted in do mills area

The hotel restaurant only works until 10:30am and then from 5pm. In the interim, if you want to grab a drink or have a meeting, you have to go to one of 3 restaurants across the street, but they also work weird hours - 1 only opens at noon and the other 2 later on. The hostess of the breakfast restaurant (Lilly) was fairly rude. She showed me to a table and instead of cleaning it, went to the bar area to continue a conversation with a patron (who was a friend). This hotel lobby doesn't have enough places to guests to sit and work. I would not recommend staying here for business. I would probably not stay in this hotel in the future, as other hotels have better restaurant hours, more reasonable service and more options for meetings and working.
