I really enjoyed my short stay. The service was friendly and attentive. The room was simple with older furnishing but clean. New clean sheets and blankets. Good for when you need a room on a budget. The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants, shops and easy access to the subway.

Oliver at the front desk was a joy to deal with...very helpful and informative. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch while listening to a lovely set of jazz. I would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The room was extremely tiny, but I won't complain. What was an issue was that the standing bath didn't drain water so I had ankle deep water while having bath and had to wash it after I come out. The cooling and Heating was messed up too.

Room was below average and was full of noises of trucks, cars, horns, sirens. I didn’t able to sleep for a single minute. Please if you want peace and rest then don’t ever book this space. Washroom amenities were also terrible. No tissues were in the room but only mentioned on a note above sink.

Average comfort. Not fussy.
It was fine. Clean enough and comfortable enough for me. Traveling solo and did not spend much time in room. Free continental breakfast comes with room stay which was a Nice bonus. Location unbeatable. Close to everything downtown. I would stay there again. I’m not fussy.

I can be picky about few details. But, next time I'll go to Toronto, I'll go the The Rex again, that tells everything. Thanks to the staff, to the excellent live jazz music and to "madame" who took care of our room. For the location : Simply perfect.

Great room at the Rex Hotel. The jazz bar below was very cool! Our rook included a private bathroom and did eveything it needed to during the stay. The location was great and very central.
