A Gem in the Greater Toronto Area
We had the king bed with pullout couch room. Bedroom is spacious, bed is very comfortable and room is separate from living room. Bedroom faces side street parking. No other view, so feels like a motel. Relatively quiet as it’s a small hotel. Small kitchenette with all basics provided (bar fridge, microwave, few dishes, keurig) Bathroom is basic. Robes provided. Could use a little extra clean in rooms and some updating. Great location near subway line (15 minute walk to Sheppard-Yonge) and many restaurants within walking distance. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is an excellent choice when staying in the Toronto area without paying downtown prices. Well worth it.

The second bed being a full size sofa bed is not ideal, the flowers on the desk were pretty dusty, but other than a couple minor things like that - this is a lovely little hotel! Great neighborhood, close to subway and felt safe and clean. Staff were wonderful! Thank you so much!

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel, as I was travelling without a phone, in many ways I got help from the staff. They were very pleasant and polite to deal with. Property needs a few fixes which I have already mentioned to the front desk attendant when I was checking out. Thank you for the hospitality. Keep up the good work.

We've stayed at the Willowdale Hotel many times. It's an older 2-story hotel with stairs, but it's very clean and comfortable. and it's ideal for families and seniors in a quieter residential area. The staff are super-helpful and friendly. Recent upgrades in tv and Internet were a lovely surprise on our recent visit.

Clean and well lit room with all necessities for a kitchenette and coffee pods with kureg to get you going the morning. Older building with not a lot of sound suppression in the walls. We could hear down stairs and next door neighbors the entire time. Great staff at check in and out. Overall would stay at this hotel again if I was as I the area.

The promotional images do not match reality. Don’t be fooled by the hotel’s promotional photos. The name of the hotel is misleading and deceptive. The interior space is very dull and depressing. The TVs are still old and do not even have access to YouTube. The shampoo and amenities were very limited. Everything is outdated and worn out. Even the bed is old and saggy. Do not expect to be satisfied with this place. The price is only worth around $100 per night, and anything more is just a loss. I will definitely never choose this place again. I recommend that no one chooses it until the owner updates and fixes it. There is even no elevator, so you have to carry your bags up the stairs. This is not a hotel at all and is deceptive. Do not waste your money
