Nice stay convenient to National Park.
Very convenient to Capital Reef Park. Property is located along the major east west highway between the Park and Torrey. Slightly older property, but everything was very clean and worked well. I especially liked the Keurig in room, and the fire pit in the evening. The restaurant on premises was good. Some in our party enjoyed the pool. I'd stay again.

The views from the property and the location were outstanding. The room itself needs a facelift but was comfortable. The restaurant was mediocre. There are lots of other restaurants in town, so we would recommend passing on the resort restaurant.

The property was well maintained and clean! It had a restaurant on site. The breakfasts were excellent and worth the cost! It would make a great place for families to stay! It had hotel rooms, cabins and Teepees!

What a cool place! We stayed in a room / but the covered wagons and tee pees would be amazing!! Fire pits and s’mores available. Hot tub and pool so nice. Restaurant on site- can also walk across the road. Very unique find. Great location for visiting parks.

We stayed here 2 nights while on our Mighty 5 park tour. We were in the hotel attached to the restaurant. The rooms could use some updating and a few plug ins added. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had great service and the food was good.

Pros: Great setting with beautiful views and very close to NP. The room was decorated with a western theme. At night there are fire pits that are gas powered so no need to worry about firewood. There are some convenient restaurants 5 miles away in Torrey. Cons: The rooms in the motel part of the resort are nicely decorated but they only have one chair outside. The other rooms have two chairs and a table. The motel chairs look like kitchen castoffs and are not comfortable. We arrived at resort at 3:20 and were told check in was guaranteed at 4 and our room wasn’t ready. Onsite restaurant is pretty basic.

The front of the resort looks nothing like the photos and we asked ourselves if we were in the right place. If you book a room rather than a cabin, wagon or teepee, your accommodations are very different and in fact your view is of the highway. The pool is nice but much smaller than it appears in pictures.

We loved our stay. Beautiful view from the property of capitol reef. Room was very nice and pool and hot to were great as well. Only issue we had was the shower took almost an hour to drain. We would definitely stay here again

Great location! Close to Capitol Reef NP. Pool area was very inviting. Great views of the beautiful red wall of rocks. The AC in our room was not great and we weren't comfortable opening the slider door because it didn't have a screen door. There were bats flying around and we were worried that one might fly in through the open door. Our room was large and we were down at the end of the building where we could see the horses and Llamas. We enjoyed that.

Our stay at Capital Reef Resort was comfortable and pleasant. The room was in good condition with comfortable beds and pillows. The towels were soft and plush. And the resort is the closest to Capital Reef National Park of any in Torey. Our only complaint was that the room was dark. There were lamps, but even with all lamps on, the room was underlit. Not a deal breaker by any means.
