Almost perfect
Picturesque, beautiful views, amazing outside space with pool and loungers. Watch the sunrise in the morning and view the lights of the mountains at night to the soundtrack of insects. Lovely old house, somewhat rustic, quite dusty. Found en suite to be a little smelly when any toilet is flushed and we had issues with electric cutting out, but host was very helpful and accommodating, the mangoes he grows are absolutely delicious, worth the stay alone!!! Location in the mountains is perfect for relaxing as its an isolated spot. In the mountains so it can get very windy and the road to the property is very narrow but I had an enormous suv not suited, any medium to small size car would have been much better. Family had a great vacation and everyone absolutely loved the pool, even when it rained. Read a review where someone said the village in Competa with the umbrellas is a 7 minute walk, well they must walk at 30 mph! You definitely need a car or some form of transport if you are staying here! Overall its a 7/10 for me but the kids would give it a 10!!

A wonderful week. The family loved the pool & the house. Jesus was the perfect host, a couple of questions were answered immediately. His mother even brought us some delicious grapes. Beautiful views from the outside dining table in the evening In our opinion you do need a car especially in August when the temperature was over 40 degrees. Thank goodness for the air conditioning at night. Can thoroughly recommend this villa for an enjoyable holiday

Wonderful villa with everything you could possibly want. Welcome basket with fruit and wine was an added bonus, thank you very much. The pool was enjoyed by all, a few tiles missing, but no big deal. The owner came over and cleaned the pool and filters. He was very pleasant. You definitely need a CAR here. The hill is a killer for even the fittest. Overall great place, great villa, quiet location. Best for rest and relaxation.

Perfect family holiday villa
It was the perfect family holiday villa, located inbetween lots of great places to visit for all ages. The kids loved the villa, and the garage space is a great addition for when it was too hot to play outside. Perfect for us adults as well to enjoy a relaxing drink in the evening from the covered seating area, watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely time staying at the villa. Reviews have been conflicting in terms of being able to walk into town. We found it perfectly do-able, literally 10 minutes. Granted it was a bit steep but only a short distance. We don't like driving abroad but still managed to get about, taking the bus to Nerja Caves, Frigliana, and to Torrox Costa a couple of times. We found the restaurants in Torrox Pueblo very friendly and good choice, but equally enjoyed using the bbq at the villa in the evenings. The view from the outside dining area is stunning. Having a pool to jump into when it gets a bit hot, day or night, was THE best! And we really appreciated a bag of the most amazing mangoes and grapes I've ever eaten, thanks to Jesus parents! Having a table tennis table in the garage for the more active amongst us was a bonus, personally I preferred to laze around the pool with a cold drink from the outside bar! Overall perfcet holiday if you want to get away from it all, but equally well situated for getting about. Thanks Jesus!

Perfect Villa for our family holiday.
We stayed here for four glorious weeks in July. Myself, my wife and three children 11, 13 and 15. The Villa is extremely spacious inside and is equiped with everything you could possibly need. The garage is great for keeping the car cool and contains a table tennis table which we got great use out of. The outside pool area is great with outdoor fridge and large shaded seating area. The kids where in the pool until 11 o'clock most nights. The Villa is in a quiet area surrounded by mountains looking down to the sea so is perfect to switch off and relax. However it is still close to the many attractions and towns in the area, such as Nerja which is only a 10 minute drive away. It is a 10 minute walk into the lovely old town of Torrox where you will find small shops and restaurants . The beach is a five minute drive away. Our host Jesus could not have been any more helpful, a true gentleman and the welcome basket and fruit was a lovely touch. We would highly recommend a stay in this wonderful Villa.

Family time
We had a fab time at the villa beautiful views and a comfortable villa . We had to contact Jesus a couple of times and we were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend to have a car as the villa is just a bit far out for walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay just wish we could have had longer there maybe another time. Thank you for the use of your villa we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it for future guests

Fabulous outside space to enjoy
The villa is very traditional inside, the rooms are large and neatly set out . The outside is what we came for a great pool loved the water feature ,Good seating area with fabulous views of the sea and mountains. We had our own car but we did walk to Torrox pueblo . Nice little property
Property pretty much as described in the brochure and more than adequate for a 10 day stay( there was 7 of us). Owner gives great service when required and is easily reached should you need him. A car is a must. Ignore the review that talks about walks to a local village etc, the villa is up a long narrow steep hill that takes massive effort even from the fittest to traverse it. Should you be able then try to find that village spoken about, because we certainly couldn’t. To be fair the Villa description makes no claims of such walks and imaginary villages. So a car is definitely a requirement with Nerja and Torrox Costa and pueblo all within easy reach. Overall a Positive experience and a good time had.

Fantastic Villa
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday . The villa is in a great location for both visiting Nerja and Torrox . The road to the villa is fine and then you can put your car in the garage to keep it cool. The villa was clean and well equipped . There was air conditioning in all but one of the bedrooms. The pool area was great. We had some lovely BBQ s . The children loved the pool it was a good size . There is even a fridge outside so you don't have to go inside . There is a lovely breeze throughout the day around the villa that keeps you cool. Thank you for letting us stay at your villa even in this pandemic !

Stunning villa
We have just returned from our holiday in this lovely villa. I love to stay in villas and I must say it’s the most well equipped villa I have ever stayed at with everything you need for you and children to enjoy your holiday. The views are amazing and a lovely short walk into the village where you find a bakery, shops, local taxis, bar etc, The buses are only around a Euro or just over each and only takes 10 mins to get to the beach, we took a second bus into nerja which was fantastic. The owner jesus was the best owner you could ask for. So very helpful when we were booking the transfer and helped the best he could. He met us at the property which was brilliant, shown us around, left a lovely welcome basket with essentials and even drove us to two supermarkets so we could take food back to the villa. I can’t rate it enough!! We would definitely stay again. Thankyou so much for all your help over our holiday. We look forward to seeing you again.

Perfect for families
We have just enjoyed the most perfect week at this villa.It was exactly right for our families, 3 generations and gave us all the space we needed. There were restaurants a short drive away which we enjoyed but our favourite evenings were BBQ s enjoying the wonderful views and facilities, especially the pool. It was great to be able to accommodate two hire cars in the garage as well. The welcome basket was especially appreciated as well along with other considerate touches. A truly memorable week. Thank you.

The villa is excellent all-round with the outside area the best we have ever had in a villa which made the holiday ideal for us. Jesus was very helpful from start to finish answering any questions quickly and sorting any issues out immediately. The location is very good for getting to the surrounding areas and we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay in Torrox
This villa is beautiful it has everything you need (and more!) very clean and a lovely breeze by the pool. Jesus and his mum are lovely people whose main aim is that you have a great time. We will be back !

Lovely Villa
We have just got back after staying at Villa Padial for two weeks stay. We were very impressed with the villa, it was excellent location for us as we had friends who have a place in Torrox Village, and whilst we at first doubted the '10 minute' walk, it really was only 10 mins to get to the top of the town (albeit with a bit of an incline but good exercise! The villa was immaculate and quite traditional and had all the facilities we needed to start our relaxing holiday straight away. As the villa is set quite high up, there was a breeze which was absolutely needed, especially when the temperatures increased. Nothing was too much trouble for Jesus. We had a problem with the dishwasher and reported one day and he came along with a new one the day after...such good service. He also welcomed us with the essentials, i.e. Wine, Water, fruit and Olive Oil, what more could we need! We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa and will almost certainly be going again in the future.

The pictures do not do the villa justice it is big and roomy inside more than big enough for the 7 of us to have individual space if needed with nice size bedrooms bathroom is a nice large size outside the views are amazing and it’s lovely and quiet but not to quiet you feel isolated. the garage is large enough for 2 cars with room for children to play in ,pool deeper and a lot bigger than the pictures show the the outside space was very useable The town was a 5 minute drive with free parking on the sea front loads of supermarkets including Lidl and Aldi local restaurants on the front were very nice and not to expensive We will definitely be coming again And a big thank you to Jesus mum for supplying fruit from the land to us it was lovely Everything you needed was supplied apart from your groceries A big thank you Marie Tolly

A really delightful Villa . We loved our 4 week stay
We were really happy to stay at this delightful villa. Jesus the owner is a very good owner. He met us and escorted us to the Villa on arrival. The Villa was a wonderful place to stay for our 4 week holiday. The large garage was great to keep the car cool. The pool and outside area were really good with plenty of chairs and tables in sunny and shaded areas. The walk into Torrox was steep but not difficult and it was fun to Walt to the village for bread and a coffee in The square most mornings and perfect to walk into the village for a drink in the evenings . The cafes and bars are great giving a good range of places to go in the village We would definitely recommend this Villa and will definitely return again Thank you to Jesus for your lovely villa. It was well presented, clean and comfortable.. Thank you to Mama Jesus for all the fruit . A good place to stay to visit the area

We have been staying in villas for over 15 years and we believe this is the best we have stayed in.
The owner of the villa is a role model to how things should be done. Because the villa is not easy to find he met us at a local garage then lead us to the villa and gave us a tour. During our stay we had a small problem with the garage door key and the pool light failed, which we text the owner about and he was there the next day with a replacement and fixed the light. Great customer service. We have been staying in villas around the world for over 15 years and we believe this is the best we have ever stayed in. Everything has been thought about. The description of the villa is not a testament to how good it is. Things not mentioned, the villa has a very large garage which could accommodate 3 cars easily. Small thing but cars get very hot in the sun. There is also an Xbox and table tennis in the garage. Outside the pool is ample and the area benefits from an Ice box and an exterior electric fridge behind the outside bar. The shaded area is really great as well for those that can’t stay in the sun all day. Inside the villa was very clean and everything is catered for. The local village is about 20 minutes walk away but not for the faint hearted. It’s a very steep hill into the village but if you can make it you will be rewarded with lovely restaurants in a beautiful setting. I can guarantee that we will be using this place again next time we visit the area. Very happy.

The best Family vacation
We had a wonderful time in this house, with a precious view and a pool that cooled us down when the sun was shining a lot. We were enjoying our stay very much and would definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone who is looking for a spacious accommodation and has a car! Maybe bring some mosquito spray ;)

Das Haus ist sehr abgelegen, die Strasse zum Haus ist sehr eng und steil. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, man könnte ein paar Sachen ersetzen, wie zum Beispiel die Pfannen, denn die waren fast alle unbrauchbar und die Liegestühle waren auch kaputt und nicht sehr gemütlich. Ohne Auto wäre es kompliziert. Einkaufen, zum Strand, etc. Jesus ist sehr nett, auch seine Mutter, die uns immer wieder frische Früchte vor die Türe gelegt hatte und sogar ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Unsere 2 Golden Retriever haben sich auch wohlgefühlt. Schade, dass an den Stränden Hunde verboten sind. Es hat einen Hundestrand in Torrox und auch in der näheren Umgebung, die sind aber alle sehr schmutzig. da wollten wir nicht hin. Wir sind dann trotzdem mit den Hunden an den Strand in Torrox, aber ein bisschen abgelegen, wo keine Liegestühle waren, hin. Im grossen und ganzem hatten wir keine Probleme mit den Leuten, nur 2 Mal wollten uns Spanier bei der Polizei melden. An der Promenade in Torrox hat es viele Restaurants und bei den meisten konnten wir mit unseren Hunden draussen etwas trinken und essen.
