Lovely old hotel, friendly staff. Sadly unresponsive to emails/online messages. I messaged a few days before travelling to ask that our elderly parents would have rooms near elevators, no reply, but staff were happy to accommodate this when mentioned on arrival. After we left, my wife noticed that she had lost an earring of great sentimental value, she emailed the hotel twice and got absolutely no reply. When you are a hotel that does so many things so well, it can't be that difficult to monitor your email account?

The team of staff were incredibly friendly. They made such an effort to remember guests names and made the experience so incredible. The location is amazing, it is easily walkable to major sites and to the metro. As a solo traveller I felt safe, welcome and it made the trip!

Great location; lovely staff
We got the room with a view of the Comedie and the location was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We probably would have preferred not to have the giant bath in the room, but I am quite sure some people would enjoy that. All in all a lovely stay!

I love this hotel. It’s unusual for me to give a rating as high as this on anything. Staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Beautiful lounge. The room and bathroom are nice and clean. Breakfast spread was good. The hotel also has a Michelin star restaurant. Great food, presentations. The location is right in the heart of everything, restaurants, bars, and sight seeing. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel.

Beautiful and quirky
An absolutely beautiful setting in an historic hotel. The breakfast service was very good. The staff was helpful. The shower was a bit funky in its control systems. There was a significant trip hazard in the hallway to our room that caught several people unaware.
