Just minutes away from numerous wineries,Colchester Harbour and Park.Walking trails close by take you into Colchester Village. Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom rancher with great beach access on paved roads. ( 2 bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds)
The surrounding area has plenty to entertain you antiquing, bird watching wineries, golf courses and of course the beach and lake. The property has a spacious garden with plenty of shade, and fire pit.

Perfect place in quiet community
We loved our stay here. Just the right size, great yard for the little ones to play, hot tub and fire pit for the big ones to enjoy. 2 drawbacks: the only key to the place was on a bad ring and we lost/found it when we were out. Consider a coded lock. The hot/cold swing temp of the shower water was very offputting. Very difficult to get a comfortable shower and couldn't bathe the little ones. We had to use the laundry tub.

Perfect
Everything was as advertised. Clean, with plenty of extra towels and everything else we needed. The best memory was sitting in the beautiful back yard at dusk watching the fireflies. I loved the relaxed pace and natural beauty of the region. I recommend dinner at the polish beach club nearby.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing
We were impressed with the cottage and expectations were met. The cottage was welcoming and clean. We really enjoyed the hot-tub and having camp fires. We didn’t use the beach at the end of the street but drove two minutes down the road to a big beautiful public beach that is groomed. The cottage beds were firm and we slept well. Large beautiful private back yard. We did several day trips-Pelee Island, Kingsville, wineries and breweries. We had a wonderful week here. Only downfall was that many places had odd hours of business or opened late and many were open a few days a week, so do some research and plan your days.

Great place for a getaway
The house and yard is fantastic with close proximity to beach. Very quiet neighborhood with private beach area down the road. Overall worked perfectly for us and two teenagers. Recommend turning down hot water heater as showers are either very hot or cold. Hot tub needed some cleaning including secured decking under stairs and stairs.

Fantastic Cozy Retreat
Family spent 6 days over Christmas and had a lovely time. The space is ideal with a very cozy living room, including fireplace. Comfortable beds and an outdoor hot tub added to the relaxation factor. Highly recommend this cottage for a low-key and comfortable family getaway.

Terrific Holiday Spot
Everywhere inside was lovely and clean when we arrived. The space was just right for our adult family of five. We enjoyed making use of the outside space including fire pit and hot tub. A short walk to the small beach and a fantastic area to explore!

3rd times a charm
This was our 3rd summer stay at the cottage and it's perfect, as always. Kids were excited about their bedroom and watching Netflix in the mornings. I enjoyed my mornings out in the beautiful quiet yard with my coffee. Although it was 40+ degrees, with humidity, that didn't stop me! Coming home each evening to a quiet & cool with A/C, place after the blistering heat each day, was perfect. We have the best sleeps there, each summer. Terry is the best, and he welcomes us each year. This is the perfect family stay!

A great vacation
My family and I enjoyed our week at the cottage. The cottage was well stocked with all the items we would need. Major stores were a 20 min drive away. The location was very peaceful and relaxing. The beach is close by and it was not crowded so the kids had a good time. I can see why people return to this cottage and the area.

Wonderful cottage with beach access
Spacious, very clean and extremely well-equipped cottage with large, shady yard and hot tub. Access to small sandy beach a short walk from cottage. Great little neighbourhood close to many wineries and beaches. We were able to explore Windsor, Amhertsburg, Colchester and Kingsville all within a 30 min drive from the cottage. Great weeklong stay!

Nice cottage/little improvements
Nice cottage. It Is small but has been recently renovated. All the small things like hand soap and toilet paper provided which was nice. Terry easy to get ahold of. Lots of earwigs though in and outside. The patio was covered in leaves/dirty etc. Could tell we were the first visit for the season. Some things could have been looked at prior to our stay (hot tub, shower and bugs). It was impossible to have a good shower as it was really hot or really cold no matter if you were the first or last. Hard going a week without a decent shower. Very nice location and nice and quiet neighborhood. Making sure the hot tub, outside clean, maybe bug traps for earwigs and water quality prior will improve the stay.

Perfect
This was our second stay at Terry's cottage, and again it's totally perfect for our family. The cottage is so comfortable, has all the amenities of home and is such a wonderful place to come home to, after busy busy days visiting family and driving around. I literally get the best 7 sleeps of the year, while at the cottage! The bedroom with 2 single beds and a TV is so great for the kids. The backyard is lovely with big trees and lots of shade. Can't wait to go back! Thank you again for your hospitality, Terry!
