Our family very much enjoyed our stay at The Grand. It was clean, well laid out and very comfortable. Only issue we had was the microwave was a bit temperamental. I would definitely stay again though and recommend it to family and friends.

Toilet tiles damaged with sharp edges around the floor to wall height . Toilet suite has large half push button and the same with the full , these were corroded and unsanitary to touch. Kettle was corroded and needed replacement. Very noisey aircon outside on upstairs room this was banging all through the night . Pretty poor condition property. I was fooled like most by the photos on Expedia.I would say pay a bit more and get a nicer spot. Also car park options are costly $25 inside park.$15 outside of the building.

Everything was top notch. I’ve stayed in Townsville many times before with work and the Grand is without doubt the absolute best. And to top it off the bed and pillows were absolutely devine, to the point I didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning. You will not be sorry. I’ll be using them from here on out, price, service, facilities can not be beaten.

The Grand is fabulous location, and the staff are extremely caring and helpful. I will choose this hotel again for sure. Beautiful pool area with covered lounges for a relaxing read and rest.

Nothing Grand about the Grand Apartments 😡.
Only thing Grand, is the price. The bare bones minimum room. No microwave, bowls, plates, cutlery, coffee cup, spare pillows, blankets, toaster. Exhaust fan not operating and the AC wouldn't heat and sounds like your in a wind tunnel. Booked for 2 nights, didn't bother staying another night, left first thing in the morning. Would have to be the last place in town before I stayed again.

Charged for parking. Check in staff on that day wasn't very welcoming. Hallway smelled of stale air and humid. Room itself was clean but adjoining rooms means can be noisy. Got woken up while I was sleeping during the day asking if I could move my vehicle.
