Peaceful log cabin retreat
Overall, this is a beautiful and well kept cabin but definitely in the outskirts of Traverse City; however, it is a pretty easy drive into the city. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. My only complaints would be that there was nothing covering the windows (no blinds or curtains, which was a little odd) and also just be aware that the roads to get to the cabin are "seasonal" so they are not paved roads.

Awesome cabin
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the property. Just wish the sprinklers didn't come on in the evening when we were enjoying the sunset and fire pit.

Unique Woodland Cabin
We stayed here with six adults and three children (age 9-11), and it worked very well for us. We were able to easily visit Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Leland, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the cabin as a good place to relax when we weren't out and about. The kids amused themselves running around in the yard. It is a bit remote, but that is part of what makes it distinctive. If I could recommend any improvement, it would be window covers, but we really had no major complaints.

Our Michigan family vacation
This cabin was perfect for our family getaway! It is a great location to use as a homebase to explore all the beautiful scenery that northern Michigan has to offer. It's secluded and a very peaceful place to stay. Everyday after our fun filled adventures, we came back to the cabin for a lovely fire on the back patio. The cabin has all the amenities needed for a wonderful visit. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

Secluded but close to town
We stayed at this property for the annual marathon in Traverse City. It was secluded, but not too far from everything! The master was wonderful and the kitchen was very well equipped! The fire pit and outside area was very nice. The owners were very responsive. Thank you!

Cozy Cabin
Our family enjoyed this beautiful log cabin. The cabin is truly beautiful. Clean, well furnished, Beautifully designed, comfortable beds, well stocked with essentials. It is a great place if you want to just hunker down and read. Not too far of a drive to Traverse City. We ventured out to TC as well as to the wineries of Lelanau Peninsula and to some of the smaller towns such as Elk Rapids and Alden The colors on the trees up here were spectacular. The only things that keep me from giving this a 5 star rating would be that internet was basically non existent on most days. We looked forward to quiet evenings with a Netflix movie but because of the very spotty WiFi- Netflix would not work well or it at all. We would get some windows when it would be fine but when it rained it didn’t work at all. The other would be the road to get here. It is a dirt road but it is very bumpy and full of large potholes that require you to drive about 5 mph down Blair Town road. The road the cabin is on is fine but getting here is rough. This of course not a reflection of this cabin. We would stay here again but would suggest window treatments on bedrooms and bathrooms. Owner was awesome to work with. Very helpful and attentive.

Michigan Vacation Log Cabin Home
The Log Cabin home was a all we expected and more. Everyone enjoyed it. It was the perfect fit for our 6 adults and 4 children. We roasted marsh mellows in the evening, grilled every night it was a bit further to Traverse City than we wanted to be but not bad ride at all. Not bad drive to wineries, downtown Travers City Mackinac Island . It was a great get away during this COVID Craziness and we felt very safe . Great experience for all the kids and they were totally unplugged and didn't miss their electronics. WIFI is not to reliable at the Log cabin home. The only suggestions for owner is The Owner should mark the entrance of the drive better it was hard to find the drive, we drove past it twice upon arrival. The Queen mattress was very hard and uncomfortable on the first floor. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Most Important the Owner was very Reachable and Approachable. Look forward to another stay soon! Virginia Vartanian

Beautiful, quiet, wooded log home setting
This log cabin is pretty much like the pictures show it to be. It's beautifully built and lots of perks. Ben is super friendly and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. The picture online did make the house look a little more spacious than it was, but it was very comfortable for our party of 8. We were a little surprised that there were no doors on the master suite and none on the one downstairs bedroom. We had a toddler, so we had to be pretty quiet when she first went down for the night, or naps. And the doors that were on the downstairs bedrooms didn't close.

Very nice but isolated getaway!
Communication was great with Ben. The property and home was very nice. It was more isolated than I thought. Deep down a dirt road. The hot tub was not clean, hence not usable. Not having cable tv was a bit disappointing. Would recommend having a toaster. The water heater was constantly running in my bedroom which took a bit to get used to. Everything else was real good. The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area was very nice. If you want a very quiet getaway , this is the place for you.
