We really enjoyed our long weekend here. It was right on the border of fall/winter so many other shops were closed for the season but that mad a cozy place to call home even better! And the breakfasts were fabulous!

Stayed for 2 nights, absolutely blown away by the excellent service by the staff and quality of space available to me. Beautiful room, dining area, patio, and amazing location. I did not have the opportunity to have breakfast either mornings but was pleasantly surprised after offered breakfast to last me my long trip home.

Not enough ways to offer enough stars. The Sylvan Inn was everything we hoped and more. Beautifully restored while maintaining the charm of an older home, perfect location, outstanding breakfast and overall care from the owners. Can't wait to return!

We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and the Inn's little touches (like the tea and coffee stations) were very much appreciated. The location is central to the town's amenities and close to Sleeping Bear Dunes. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay in Glen Arbor.

My wife and I stayed for 2 days to relax and take in the scenery along the banks of Lake Michigan and to check out other places. We really enjoyed checking out the lighthouses around the area. The staff allowed us to change the breakfast menu as we didn’t prefer some food on it.

Lovely Bed And Breakfast
Lovely, charming bed and breakfast. Comfortable rooms, location was perfect with walking distance to downtown and close to bike/hiking trails. Beach was also walking distance. Staff was very pleasant and food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent location.

We were not able to stay at the Inn. The room assigned to us was up some very steep steps (interior) without a full handrail from top to bottom. This was not going to be safe for me. We released the rooms right away so the owner could at least rebook the second night. We have requested a partial refund if they were indeed able to rebook. This is a very busy time in the area, and people were calling about last minute accommodations (per the owner). My husband also thought the room was very small and basic.

Perfect Lodging For Home Away From Home
Sylvan Inn is clean, beautiful, quiet, peaceful, accommodating, friendly, & definitely has the right atmosphere for being a home away from home while on a special, semi-secluded vacation. Really appreciated the easy access to nearby beach & restaurants, and the spaces our family could congregate in, the side yard, wraparound porch, & long table inside where we could meet up, play games, and do crafts! Would definitely stay here again!
