Beware
Pros: Excellent view from the balcony and overall, the inside of the home was renovated, spacious and comfortable. Cons: It is a farm house that has been renovated into a vacation rental. As such the original home is very old. The electrical has not been upgraded and we were informed of the location of the electric panel in case the circuit tripped - we kept turning off everything to make sure we didnt have an issue. It is difficult to drive to the home - the last mile is a very narrow side street and especially difficult to dive in the dark. The reservation says wifi is available for a fee but didnt provide details. I didnt notice that and asked them why there was no wifi after I checked in. They said I didnt order it and would have to get me a device. Except that they didnt do that for two days out of my four night trip - that made for an extremely unhappy family. There is no AC in the home - this should be ok most of the year but I was unfortunate that my stay coincided with a heatwave and they didnt drop off fans at the unit for two days!!! Needless to say, we didnt sleep well the first two nights. This being a farm house, there were many insects, including mosquitoes and a few lizards in the house. No dishwasher. -
