Casa Bouganville

Holiday apartment in Porto Alabe (the word means seagull) on the west coast of Sardinia. The accommodation consists of a living room, kitchen, pantry, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a bathroom. From the covered veranda you have the opportunity to enjoy marvellous sunsets over the sea, appreciated by Hollywood stars for their immense charm. There is also a shower in the spacious outdoor area. The long, fine sandy beach offers a play of colours ranging from golden to amber and is surrounded by cliffs with dense Mediterranean vegetation. The sea waters are transparent. The dunes, covered with cacti and Mediterranean vegetation, surround the beach. Around the bay you will find a wide selection of restaurants where you can savour traditional dishes and excellent fresh fish. The picturesque town of Bosa is only 5 km away and lies on the only navigable river in Sardinia; with its colourful houses and interwoven narrow streets, dominated by the imposing fortress. On the gentle hills of the area there are vineyards of Malvasia, a D.O.C. wine of Greek origin, which you can savour together with the typical almond biscuits of Sardinia. Just 15 km away you will find the mountains, where you can go on great hikes in the oak forests. In Alghero (46 km) you can descend the staircase along the cliff, which will take you up about 600 steps from Capo Caccia to the Grotte di Nettuno.
