Overall nice but very loud
The hotel overall is fine in every way (rooms, overall condition, staff, breakfast, etc.), and the location in the city is excellent. The one major issue we had was that our room was nearly impossible to sleep in until about 3:00. This was due to the fact that the room is very hot in the summer and the windows need to be kept open to keep it cooler but it opens to the main street with a lots of loud passers-by coming and going from and to bars, restaurants, etc. Installing air conditioning would probably solve this problem.

Quiet, comfortable, modern hotel
Comfortable, spacious, quiet room. The hotel is right in the centre of town, with many good restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance.

From hotel to places of interest = Easy!
The best thing about this hotel is its location. It was located right where we could get to various places of interest easily on foot (ex. cafes, restaurants, Marx's house, Jew Alley, fountains, the Gate, shops, churches, the Cathedral). The room was clean and nice, the bathroom clean and spacious, the place was quiet, breakfast was good and there was variety (ex. eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, cereal), wifi was free and steady, and the staff was friendly and spoke English (which was helpful to us). Check-in and -out was quick. I always felt safe in and around the hotel.

Samstag Nacht ist halligalli
Das Hotel an sich ist gut gelegen in der Nähe vom Zentrum. Unser Zimmer war sauber die Dusche funktionierte super, ein Fenster war allerdings kaputt beim öffnen. Der Check-In funktioniert gut auch ohne Rezeption über Code. Samstag Nacht ist allerdings sehr unruhig in Richtung fußgängerzone da dann jede Menge junge Leute Party machen. Fenster auf geht dann schlecht wenn man schlafen will. Morgens früh gegen 8 Uhr kommt dann die straßenreinigung. Wer also gerne etwas besser schläft, der sollte sich ein Hotel in ruhigere Lage suchen es sei denn er lässt das Fenster zu.

Sehr nettes Personal, die Lage Top, direkt an der Haupteinkaufsstraße gelegen. Sehr sauber, egal wo man hinschaute. Mit Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Frühstück war ok, keine besonderen Highlights, keine warmen Speisen, sehr guter Kaffee. Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Einerseits nach außen zur Einkaufsstraße, aber besonders auch zu den Nachbarzimmern, dem Flur und der oberen Etage. Vor 24 Uhr wurde das Schlafen schwer, ab 6 Uhr sehr laut durch Trampeln und Geschrei. Das Zimmer zweckmäßig. Betten klein und quietschend, Fernseher extrem klein, aber ansonsten ok und vor allem sauber.
