We had a 4 night booking there on Feb 22 -26! There are two rooms one to the right and one two the left. We were traveling with friends and they got the room to the right. So our room didn’t. Have a fridge , a safe , a useable window , and since power is on only 2 hours a day twice a day it’s dark and hard to get around. The toilet was broken when we arrived and we had three attempts to fix it until I finally fixed it. The amenities that are on the properties description is a joke and way over stretch of what is available. I would never recommend this room to anyone. We found a place with a generator and all the stuff should been included for the same price and a lot bigger brighter. We checked out the 2nd day as my wife didn’t give me a choice. I am writing this it to thrash the older couple who live there but to save you or anyone the frustration when trying to rent that cave of a room. Buyer be ware comes to mind. Also I hope he changes description like having a bar , restaurant coffee shop description as this is way off

Our host Orlando is was very friendly and helpful he organised everything for us and treated us like family he is a fantastic cook i recommend having breakfast and ddddinner dinner

Familia muy agradable. La estancia dentro de la dura situación general que sufren los cubanos, fue bastante confortable. La estancia estaba muy limpia y con necesidades básicas cubiertas. Dan servicio de lavado de ropa a coste muy asequible, muy buen desayuno. Son una familia muy atenta y que atenderá cualquier necesidad que se presente.

Super clean and beautiful rooms, with an amazing rooftop balcony. Only 10 min walking to plaza major through the beautiful small streets of Trinidad! The host is super friendly and helpful! We had an awesome stay and for sure will go back another time!

The property was beautiful and clean. The entire family was fantastic and made us feel at home. The only downside is that they have scheduled power off twice a day. I understand their point that they can do nothing about it, but that should have been disclosed in the rent description so the customer could decide between renting or not. Other than that, the place is safe, clean, and beautiful

Super friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Made us feel super welcome and great service. Great rooftop breakfast. Centrally located along main road, within 10 min walk to all sights and restaurants. A nice room with wonderful hosts
Rolando and Yolandia are wonderful hosts who are so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room is big and the terrace/balcony is a really nice space. It's also a short walk from the house into the city centre. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival as well as the dinner they made for us one evening. We would highly recommend staying with them in Trinidad.

This is a lovely place, especially because the host family is so friendly and attentive. I have been to a lot of casas in Cuba. I would definitely recommend this one.

Booked two rooms and spent two nights. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. In two days, power outed for over 10 hours, wifii worked for couple hours. The lady host barely communicated, even if you wrote in Spanish.

Good people make it better
Overall, Fernando and family were amazing. I felt like I was part of a Cuban family for a short period of time as they are most welcoming. Trinidad is quite a throwback (in a good way) town, including some planned rolling blackouts (while annoying, outside of their control), but good people help overcome the challenges (including a back up generator!). The meals were excellent, with the two dinners I had being the best meals I had while in Trinidad (so eat local). While no stay is perfect, I couldn't ask for much more. Thank you family and you are all welcome in Canada (just not during the winter!!).

Trinidad is awesome and so was this cozy casa. The family was veryy friendly and amicable. English speaking. The room was always super tidy. Close to the center. Really good home cooked food. Lovely terrace with the room. Bring euro’s!

We staied in Trinidad only 4 days and we didn't know what to expect, as each city in Cuba is very different. People make the difference and at 'casa Nochea' we had a very warm welcome and a nice permanence. The family takes care of you, welcomes you with a big smile and a welcome drink, they introduce you to the city, reccomending best options and giving suggestions if you don't know what's around. The house is in the middle of the city and offers many restaurants, bars and attractions. The rooms are very clean and they get serviced every day. If you need anything during your stay, ask and it will be sorted for you.

From the very first moment of completing our booking the interactions were prompt, friendly, welcoming & exceptionally informative... Fidelito was SUPER helpful providing information about the local area, activities & the kindest offer to prepare a meal for us both even though we was arriving late at night. On arrival we was greeted by the kindest of families & it was clear at this point the most disappointing thing was the fact we had only booked 2 nights, i knew we should have booked longer! The fish dinner was exceptional but the Canchanchara was my first in Cuba, the best in Cuba & one that will live long in the memory. From now on it's all about the Canchanchara!!! That evening we stayed up chatting to Fidel's father in law, at this point we realised this is what our journey in Cuba was all about... Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, simple & wholesome (eggs, fruit, coffee, bread & that delicious homemade guava jam). Really setting the day up... The rooms are well facilitated, with lovely clean linen, toiletries, towels & a security box for your personals... Moreso they are immaculately clean.... We had great interactions with Fidel (very good english speaker ;) a fun, honest, intelligent host who made us feel part of the family as opposed to guests during our short stay.... For us it will be an unforgettable experience during our Cuban trip & we would both highly recommend that you book with the Nochea Family... We certainly intend to return ;)

The property was at a walking distance (7-8 mins) from the historical City Centre. The host was a beautiful and caring lady who cooked and served delicious breakfast & dinner. The property is a big and well decorated casa - with colourful wall paintings.

We loved our stay with the family. Genuinely lovely people who took so good care of us. Accommodation had all we needed, super clean, comfortable and practical. We had some breakfast and a dinner. And everything was tasty and we felt that it was made by care. So professional and same time like we were dear friends. We wish we can visit them again!
