Our stay at Casa Los Rubios was a delight! Alberto and Sonia were very attentive. They helped us to organise a hiking trip, rent bikes and arrange our onward accomodation in Playa Largo. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and enjoyed a well stocked fridge of beer!

Wonderful home and location!
Trinidad was the perfect mix of beach, city and relaxing in Cuba. We loved every minute at Hostal Puerto Casilda. George gave a wonderful walking tour of the city. The entire family was above and beyond accommodating with food, drinks, and taxi rides to town and beach for the day! Would highly recommend staying at their large comfortable home. The pool was the cherry on top during our hot May visit!

The hosts, Ana and her son Jorge, were very helpful and informative. The breakfasts were large and tasty and the beds and rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having beers on the various terraces. Bear in mind that although there are a handful of local restaurants within walking distance, a larger choice is available in Trinidad which is a taxi ride away. The beaches are also accessible by taxi. Ana & Jorge are able to book taxis and arrange tours.

The casa is beautifully decorated with a living tree and many growing plants in the entry way. We had two rooms. The rooms are spacious, well decorated with lovely furnishings and en suite bathrooms. There is a roof top terrace for evenings as well as a small swimming pool in the casa. Ana the host, helped us with anything we needed and made delicious breakfasts. Casa Hostel Puerto Casilda is a 5 star holiday rental. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and new year, and we had a lovely stay with Anna the casa owner, she and her family made us feel very welcome and we’re very helpful with advise on getting around Trinidad and the beach area, the hostel is very clean good breakfasts and food, and what’s more it looks stunning, perfectly situated between Trinidad town and player ancon I would highly recommend this lovely and friendly hostel. Ana the owner, was very helpful and friendly. Casa was one of the good ones around the neighborhood. Rooms were quite spacious. Breakfast was also very generous. If i were to visit again, i would definitely love to visit Ana again.

Wir waren als junge Familie mit einem dreijährigen Sohn zu Gast und waren sehr zufrieden. Ich würde die Casa bzw. das Hostal als Hybrid aus einfachen B&B Hotel und Casa Particular beschreiben. Ein tolles Frühstück, ein schöner, Haceienda-artiger Innenhof mit vielen Pflanzen und ein excellentes Restaurant in direkter Nähe. Nur bei der Lage ist zu beachten, dass man sich in Casilda befindet und nicht in Trinidad. Dafür ist der schöne Strand etwas näher.

Sehr schöne und geräumige Casa. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und bieten viel Platz. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Touren zum Strand, nach Trinidad oder Nationalparks können problemlos über die Casa organisiert werden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Tout était parfait ! Ana nous a réservé un très bel accueil et nous a parfaitement guidé pour nos sorties sur place. Les petits déjeuner étaient délicieux , ana adorables et les indications données pour notre séjour en ont fait un voyage de rêve .
