The deck and sun-room offer areas for dining and great space to take in the scenery. Relax in this home and feel perched above the ocean below. Waking to this wooded, ocean landscape is truly inspiring. This 1 bedroom plus 2nd bedroom loft home is best suited for adults or families with older children. The Master bedroom has a king bed and the loft offers a queen bed. The recently remodeled bathroom is very contemporary and boasts a beautifully tiled floor and shower stall. Laundry is available in the home. The house is filled with lovely art pieces from all over the world. The kitchen has premium appliances and great views. 20th anniversary get away

This home is everything the description states and more! Incredible views, extremely clean, and equipped with everything you need! I especially appreciated just how squeeky clean the windows were in every room that provided a beautiful ocean view. The hosts think of everything you may need, even a first aid kit and extra toiletries and kitchen items. Trinidad is the cutest little town that provides great food and hikes. We ventured off daily to hike in other areas. Truly a 5 star location!

Amazing Place!

I hope my life leads me to another place as beautiful as this. The view is off the charts amazing. When we first walked in my wife said oh cr@p we’re never going to want to leave. We sat for hours just listening to the waves sipping wine. If you’re picky and need a fancy new place this isn’t it. The kitchen and bathroom are dated, but the place was very clean and setup perfectly with everything we needed. Like others have said - this place is all about the view and location. Trinidad is a beautiful tiny town with everything you need. There is an active (and appears to be brand new) fishing pier that you can see from the place. The lights are on all night but it is not intrusive. We found it cool that it’s an active fishing village. Watching the fishing boats come and go was cool too. Side note: we’ve been burned many times by terrible grills at VRBO’s. The grill is new and in perfect condition. Also, my wife and I both noticed how clean the windows were. This place is all windows and if they had been dirty it would have ruined it. The wall of windows was spotless. Fantastic place!!!

REDWOODS TRIP

The house location was amazing and perfect getaway for a couple. If you need downtime and relaxation, this is the house for you. The views of the ocean are breathtaking and you can sit by the window or outside on the deck for hours.

Beautiful, Peaceful Home by the Sea

We very much enjoyed this tranquil, beautiful, Home by the Sea, with breathtaking views of the ocean, nestled amongst established trees, with birds and even seals frequenting close by. It is also convenient to a grocery store, gas station, and restaurants, though you wouldn't know it by the lush surroundings.

Sea Cliff Stay

This was our second 2 week stay here . We love this place and hope to come back again. The private location at the end of the lane and overlooking the Trinidad Harbor is perfect. We never tired of looking out the expansive windows to see the tide change effect on the beach below the house, to watch the activity of boats, kayakers and paddle boarders in the harbor and the changing weather from fog to sunshine . The house is comfortably and attractively furnished. The gas fireplace was a welcome and cozy plus on a cool foggy morning. Love the small community of Trinidad as well. Can't say enough good things about this place. Had only one complaint. The deck barbecue had not been cleaned from the previous use. We could live with that. Jim and Marilyn

Amazing location/view/setting~

Great view

The property had a spectacular view, but it was a bit dated. When we arrived the alarm went off & we had a hard time getting it to stop, but eventually the property manager was able to get it turned off. The bathroom was a bit small. The neighbor continued to close & lock the gate, which was a inconvenience when we were coming and going. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

We decided to visit the Redwoods for our kids Spring Break and found this unique spot for our family. Trinidad is a beautiful small town, quiet and isolated. You have the opportunity to enjoy the forest while enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean. The home itself has its own charm, it’s an older style, does creek when you walk and is on septic, but has everything you need for a relaxing and tranquil retreat from the city. Easy drive to neighboring Redwood destinations and a little market for all your eating needs.

Wonderful location

Enjoyed our stay this December. Pros: location was just as the photos ie wonderful. House was clean with all the supplies in the kitchen except for cooking oil. Cons: mattress in the bed room is old and creaky. Should be changed.
