Please note, only the two ground-floor bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. The nature-blend architecture of the two upstairs bedrooms doesn't accommodate AC; however, their elevated position on the mountain ensures a significant year-round breeze. For added comfort, we can provide portable chillers and fans. Pamper yourself with Egyptian cotton towels and plush mattresses, and enjoy the serene ambiance of your private retreat. Stunning home but beware of nearby construction noise
This home is situated on a medium hill and is built up on the land so that your views of the ocean and surrounding area are stellar. The sounds of the waves are close and wonderful. However, this home is also one of the first homes built in an emerging "neighborhood" so future guests can almost be guaranteed to be met with fires from surrounding neighbors clearing the land as was our case or with inevitable construction sounds. On all sides of this house are home sites, so be sure to contact the owners for a true assessment of nearby construction noise. Having said all that, this home is beautifully built, with a gorgeous tiled pool and a large sunning area. The plants and trees within the yard are wonderful which help creates an oasis feel to the walled in property. The beds, sheets and pillows are very comfortable and each room is stunning in its own right. The homes hang out areas consists of a lower level c-shaped sofa common in homes down in Troncones. There is also a small, rather uncomfortable wicker loveseat and chairs area. The center of the home has a spectacular handmade dining table that seat 16 (?). The kitchen is ridiculously small given the house. It is well appointed but with very little counter-space, a poorly laid out island and small 4- burner stove. Note: there is not an oven. By far the most appreciated aspect of this home is Jose, the house manager and Sandra, the housekeeper. They keep the house and grounds immaculate and can inquire or acquire anything you might want. During our stay, however, we felt there daily presence from 8-5 to be unnecessary and a bit intrusive. When we told them that they need not be with us everyday, they explained that they are required to be present daily by the home owners. Loyal, informative and so very nice, we appreciated Jose and Sandra. In sum, this house is stunning and very comfortable with an amazing view. It is a short 5 minute walk down to the coveted swimming beach of Manzanillo Bay. While I would contact the property as to the status of nearby building, this house is almost so awesome and so close to the beach and wave sounds, that I might stay there again depending on how close the construction noise is.
