Nice hotel, no frills (rooms are basic and small), but very enjoyable. Paid for breakfast, and it was quite good. Very close (5 min by walk) from Tsukuba station. Several stores nearby.

Pleasant and quiet place
The twin room for two was very accommodating for my friend and I. The bathroom facilities are very clean, and spacious. Moreover, the staff was quite friendly and they provided a very pleasant stay for us. I requested a quiet room, and they fulfilled this as well

Good to stay
The room's cozy, but clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is helpful to stay, including shoping malls, interseting local stores, parks, and 24 hour-open super market. I would stay again, if I visit Tsukuba again.

Nice hotel, but further away than stated
The app says the hotel is 2 minutes from the station, their website says so too. The main building is, but Epochal is a 10 minute walk from the station. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and the area around both buildings is great.

Nice hotel except very stale air in the room.
Overall, it was a nice stay. The location is convenient for conferences. However, the walk to the bus station is a little far. 10 minutes walk is OK under nice weather, but too much for hauling luggages in the cold rain. Taxi is a way to go, but not many were around. Non smoking room still smells smoke. The air could get stale very soon after closing windows. The bathroom was nice to have a standard washlet. Staff was very friendly. They offered shuttle services between Epochal building and the main building.

Though it's a walking distance to tsukuba station, it's a pretty much convenient place with a nearby second hand shop and a 24hr supermarket.

Central location good value for money
Great little hotel, nice and clean in a wonderful location in Tsukuba. It's just across a lovely park, a stroll away from Dayz Town which has a grocery and a 100-yen store. Also a good place to hang out in after hours. Recommend the chicken skewer place (yakitori) decorated in retro chic at the corner, and the bars and restos at the basement floor. Ask the receptionist for directions to AOI Ramen, voted 3rd best miso/tonkotsu ramen in Japan which is a five minute walk away. It's a culinary experience!
