Beautiful desert location
If you really enjoy being in the Sonoran Desert surrounded by towering Saguaros, then this place is for you. Yes, other casitas are nearby, but the orientation/location of this casita makes you feel isolated in the beautiful landscape. It is near fun hiking trails and the Saguaro West National Park, and still only 20 minutes’ drive to downtown Tucson. The property is clean, comfortably furnished, updated, the kitchen is well stocked, and it features fun artwork. Best of all, it’s quiet! The outdoor jacuzzi is a bonus, and so was seeing a bobcat amble by in pursuit of a rabbit (which got away). Highly recommended.

Sweet little desert hideaway
Comfortable, clean, little gem away from the city. Hiking just outside the door. One mile to the Saguaro National Park. It was just what we wanted. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you!

Cozy home nestled in the Tucson Mountains with amazing views. New hot tub and attentive property manager. Also, just minutes away from multiple hiking trails. If you like being outside and away from the city traffic, this is the perfect home.

This was a wonderful space for my hubby and I to spend time in the outskirts of Tucson which is where we wanted to be! Nice house with wonderful views but within 30 minutes of anywhere we wanted to go in the city and easy access to the national park!

Quiet hideaway
This was as beautiful as the photograph on the listing and just the perfect place to spend our vacation. We loved the quiet area and the sightings of the local birds and animals. The casita is very comfortable and yet spacious enough for us to have some friends join us for dinner one evening. We would definitely rent this vacation home again.

Beautiful property with amazing views. The only issue we had was when we checked in the house was 55 degrees inside, it took about 12 hours to heat up to 70. Other than that, the house was perfect with much hiking to choose from within a few miles.

Nice place ... very quiet. The hot tub is small but perfect with very adequate jets and a great view for a morning soak. The fireplace draws well and makes for a perfect evening routine.

Secluded with gorgeous views. Very comfortable with excellent proximity to hiking Saguaro Nat’l Park west and Tucson Mountain Park. Jim and YoYo were prompt and very responsive in our communications. We’ll be sure to return!

Great casita in beautiful location
We loved both the casita and where it was located. The immediate surrounding is beautiful with trailheads nearby so you can explore some quintessential Sonoran desert. We walked Sweetwater trail which is easy for any level hiker. The locations is only 15 minutes from downtown via I-10, which somewhat surprised us--we thought we'd be further away. The rental itself was clean and had most of what you'd need, thought I'd have liked a few more pots and pans if I was planning on cooking more. The rental agent was very responsive and helpful. All around, a great place and a great stay!

Nice but jacuzzi hot tub far away
My wife and I stayed here 4 nights. Very clean. The only reason we selected this casita was because it had a jacuzzi. Turns out, it was about 100 yards away in the back of other casitas. Howling coyotes got my wife up one night (who had never experienced coyotes before) and she woke me up in a panic, which actually made for a very funny memory.

gorgeous views
We loved out stay at El Diamonte. The views were tremendous, the location was close enough to everything. The hiking around Tucson was so beautiful, there is so much to do we have to go back. One critique of El Diamonte-the hot tub is located in the rear of another casita, so it is not easily accessible. Also, there is not laundry in the El Diamonte. Overall, we loved our stay and can't wait to return!

Beautiful property outside of town. Nice and clean and comfy, just right for a quiet getaway.
Enjoyed the quietness of the area in this lovely casita. Easy to get into town. Also loved Tohona Chul Park and the walking trail near the casita.
