The kitchens are well stocked and so convenient. Having a separate bedroom is really nice. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the area felt safe. It was close to shopping, food, and a really great location for the gem show- which is why we were there. The only downside of the place is the traffic noise. But it didn't bother us too much. The freeway and an onramp to the freeway are right next to the hotel. So be aware that if you're a light sleeper, you might want ear plugs or a white noise machine.

They told me that there is pet charge $125.00 for 3 nights staying. There was a previous reviewer mentioned the same things and the manager kindly lowered to $75. I told the manager on duty that day I could pay $75 also. She refused in the beginning and finally she realized that I only stay for 3 nights and agreed with it. Landscape around the property all covered with rocks and gravels. It’s not pet friendly property. Plus it’s by the highway the noisy is coming through the wall. I will not go back to this one.

New Years Eve
My wife and I tried the WaterWalk hotel as it was in close proximity to the UofA Basketball game. Hotel was very presentable, clean and new. We liked the decor. Room was very comfortable & new. There are lots of close things like Whataburger, QT, Walmart and a great Chinese Buffet across the street. We did have an electric outlet issue where the TV was on the same circuit as the light. We called maintenance and they fixed it. I would stay here again but were aware of the noise from the freeway and also they were out of basics like Cofee, Tea & hot chocolate which was one reason we selected this.

What an excellent place to stay. The only improvement I can see is if they were to install an EV charger. Many people choose hotels by that criteria. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely noisy, highway, people on hall, stopping, banging, open and closing doors all in the middle of the night till 3 am at least. We needed a place to sleep for about 5 hours to get back on the road, we couldn’t. Cheap built building you can hear everything. Not recommended if you need rest and sleep on your road trip.
