We were given a handicapped accessible room even though we didn’t request it. The bed was so low to the floor it was difficult getting in and out of it. Not to mention the fact that it was also a lumpy uncombed. We were supposed to gave maid service daily, that didn’t happen and we had to go to the front desk for extra towels and coffee. Our room door was really hard to close without really yanking on it, almost as if it was either hung incorrectly or maybe the property had settled and it wasn’t level maybe? The whole property needs serious updating and attention.

Do not stay here, read the reviews . 4 o’clock check in is a joke, there were 25 people waiting at 4 for check in and our rooms were not ready. Yes 25, we were told to check back every 30 mins. No manager to talk to, no discount, they don’t care.

Beautiful suite. Sadly, pool was closed which i called and confirmed it would be open before i booked. Staff at check in was all about signing up for rewards and didnt not advise how to get into the building from the parking garahr nor where my room was expected to be. Staff at breakfast was unattentive. She was at the back of the restaurant and proceeded to stare at me standing at the "wait to be seated" sign then yelled from her positioned to come in. I ordered an orange juice and proceeded to finish my meal before she came out and advised they dont have any orange juice and then walk away. So I had zero drink with my meal. Breakfast was sub par as well. Food was barely warm and limited. Went to the market place to get coffee and muffin FOR BREAKFAST (like i said sub par in the dining area). Other than convenience for convention i attended the stay was not worth the price and did not stand up to Hilton's normal standards.

Overall the hotel was very nice. I specifically searched for hotels with an indoor pool and chose this one. When we showed up and my kids were screaming to go to the pool no one at the front desk checking me in told us the pool was closed. Get checked in, unload the car, get kids changed into swimsuits, head down to the pool and it’s under construction and closed. Would have been nice to have gotten some type of communication about this so we could plan accordingly.

It was our first time staying at a DoubleTree hotel. We weren’t sure where to go to find our room. As James never told us upon our check-in. When I return to ask him how to get to our room, there was a lot of sass in his voice and he talked to me like I was dumb. Once my husband and I got into the elevator we pressed for our level(12), but it didn’t go. Thankfully, a mother and son happened to be in the elevator with us, so they showed us that we had to use our room key to operate the elevator. Something James should’ve informed us. Once we got settled in our room, we got ready to wash up for the night. As I was grabbing a wash cloth to wash my face, I noticed a piece of black frizzy hair that’s about 2 inches long, sticking out between the wash cloths. I was disgusted and decided to let my face air dry. On top of that, the body wash bottle in the shower was emptied! Overall, I was not impressed! We will not be staying at DoubleTree hotel the next time we are in town to visit family. Would not recommend to family and friends!
