This listing is inacccuate. No restaurant, bar, or spa. The restaurant & bar seemed to be permanently closed. We saw a massage hut but no one working there and no way to book treatments. There was no reception & no one answers the number provided. When we arrived, we couldn't get in & had to use Google translate with a random guy to help us. We made our way on our own the entire week.Also - no housekeeping.There are a few towels provided when you arrive & that's all you get. If they get dirty, you're on your own to figure out taking them to be laundered.

The Arthouse is a great choice in Aldea Zama. The place is perfect! Clean and comfortable. Love the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with the patio pool, perfect for our family of 4. We ate at the restaurant on site and it was delicious. We actually walked all the way to the beach and hotel zone, which was about 50 minutes to walk down Coba and only $25 USD cab ride back. Renting a bike could cut the time in a third. Lots of close restaurants and more being built up. Host was prompt with clear directions. No hesitation in chosing this spot again.

Your stay was amazing...from check in to the end of our trip. We were in Jungle Luxury arthouse and it was absolutely the best accommodation we had so far. Staff was really friendly and helpful and Manuel at front desk was great,always ready to help with all questions and everything else we needed.Thank you for making our trip Manuel.We will be back soon again.

The property itself is beautiful but the Arthouse complex has its flaws. For instance, we were a large group!of people staying in two residences and despite having the entire place practically to ourselves, we kept running out of hot water. We also ran out of toilet paper and were told by staff we had to supply our own.

Best place away from the Beach
More of an apartment stay in the new development/maze called Aldea Zama in town, this place is wonderful. The pool is beautiful. We felt like the only ones there, so we basically had a giant pool to ourselves. The staff is so nice. They'll speak to you in English if you want. It's so clean and comfortable. The A/C works so well, especially in that humidity. There were four of us (two couples) and there were two full bathrooms in our room. I don't fully understand the little pool on our balcony, but I appreciate it. There was a full kitchen with whatever you needed. They provided sparkling water and juice, but generally left us alone. So hospitable. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Parking on the street was plentiful. Bike rentals, however, are no longer free. Remember that since this is more of an apartment stay, they don't come in to clean up every day. Keep that in mind, and be a nice traveler.

The property was very clean. Staff was friendly and helped with questions that I had. Unfortunately some of the lights didn’t work on the balcony. Only one of the lights in the pool worked when we arrived then it went out so we had no lights outside. There’s loud construction that awoken is every day around 6-6:30 and didn’t stop till approximately 1700.

Art and hospitality are two separate things
The place is nice for Aldea Zama but if you work hard in the real world to spend money on vacation and hope that the people you give your hard earned money to will treat you the same way you acted to earn it, “Art” House is not the place to stay. The front desk woman and the manager Natalia were incredibly rude to the point of disgusting and seemed to have no understanding of who was the guest and who was the host and who was on holiday and who was at work. Accordingly I would never stay here again an don’t suggest anyone else does the same until the staff learns the art of treating their guests like guests respecting their time on holiday. But after my discussion with Natalia I don’t see that happening. This place sucks.

The property is absolutely beautiful, very artsy, clean, our apartment was big, we had everything that we needed, made breakfast every morning, there are even champagne glasses! The pool was great, relaxing, drinks and food as well, they were all very responsive and helpful.

We were looking for quiet, close to the beach and town, and of course eye candy. Got all in spades. The staff was awesome and all the art installations were great to look at. Can't recommend this place enough. If you dont need beach front, and want a less "touristy" stay: this is it.

The property is very tasteully made. Excellent art ,size of the rooms.Amenities are really good. Only thing is its away from the hotel zone and beach front, one definately needs a car esp if you are with family. Fresh market close by is small supermarket. The big pool is not ready the plunge pool is lovely. Great apartment but housekeeping is not daily. staff very friendly & helpful. overall a 4/5 stay wish this property was close to the beach as the breakfast is also not on the property u have to drive to the beach. Beautiful gorgeous villa but unfortunate its in the residence zone.

Extremely disappointed, still no refunded money
Unsure why this place has such amazing reviews because I hadn't experienced the same at all. Upon arrival they put a $200 hold on your card incase of incidentals (completely understandable) they also have you sign a paper stating if anything goes missing, things are left dirty, or if there was too much trash, etc, you will be charged. Many of the photos implying what the suite would look like are computer generated and just being built, I know this because the view from my bedroom and "pool" was directly in front of the construction being built. I could literally have a conversation with the construction workers. Everything was dirty, the comforter had a giant black mark on it, every single dish from the cabinet was dirty, marks all over the floors and porch. The sponge to clean the dishes had to be weeks old and very clearly needed to be replaced. It was made to seem that the Luxury Penthouse Suite would have a pool, hot tub, and bath, there was only a small concrete pool that saw no sun until about 3:30pm. Our view was not only the construction of the newer Arthouse, but also a giant lot of dirt and a dumpster. The bikes provided were rusted & unkept, the tires were flat or you had to steer sideways to go straight. There is no one at the desk unless someone is checking in, otherwise the door to the lobby/"library" was locked, when we arrived the girl spoke English, but when I tried to tell her we wanted to check out early she couldn't. Had to pay for new hotel to enjoy MX

Probably one the best places I’ve stayed in a long time. Spacious, luxurious and very reasonably priced. Staff is incredibly and very helpful. If you staying in Tulum and want to feel like at home stay at arthouse. I’ll be back this summer for sure !
