Very good

Staffing was very pleasant. How ever the additional roll out bed that was needed was less than satisfactory also very uncomfortable. It was a lawn chair. This needs to be updated to the proper roll out bed I was charged for. I ended up sleeping in a chair. This is my only complaint.
Loved the resort but transportation is not happening after 3am blessings to the sweet girl who helped us during 7-14/7-16 😘 lgbtq not hated but unknown outchea so move respectfully wen visiting and chill and grill 5 min walk is the best!! Snapper fried whewww
They were doing renovations around the pool deck, which would've been okay if I was aware of this before I booked. I was not offered any type of discount and the loud jack hammering and cement griding going on from 7am to 6pm was not okay. You could not sleep past 7am.
This place is beautiful and the grounds were maintained. The room was clean and nicely set up. We had everything we needed in our suite, kitchen supplies, clean towels, etc. The only downfall was that our room was right in front of the pool that was closed. There were workers everyday outside laying the new flooring and we couldn’t use the pool for our entire stay. The pool that was open was full of children. Our room had an oceanfront view but you just had to look past the construction and noise.
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was perfect. Full kitchen and laundry. Staff and security were on point. The only negative thing I noticed was the lack of ability to stay for those who are wheel chair bound. I will definitely recommend.
There were many things that we liked about Hotel La Vista Azul. The location of our room right next to the pool, with steps that led to the pool from our balcony/patio was awesome and convenient. The flora and fauna on the property were very well maintained and beautiful. The days were hot, so it was important for the A/C to work properly, and it did. The hot water was perfect. Although we didn’t have the time to cook, the full kitchen and refrigerator that we made use of was great . The washer and dryer worked well and was very convenient. The beach chairs and umbrellas were in good condition and not ragged or overused. The east view of the ocean and morning sunrise was spectacular! The food that we ordered from Simone’s, the on property restaurant, delicious. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Huge rooms with fitted kitchen and washing machine/tumbledrier, all located a few minutes walk from the beach.
Pools are small but clean and quiet.
Restaurant doesn’t open on a Sunday and the ice cream parlour is the only option for breakfast (well bizarre). But don’t bother wil it, well overpriced for what it is. Instead go the local supermarket and stock up on food.
Dining out; best place for value is Sharkbite just 5 minutes walk away.
Would I come back? Oh yes!!
The view from the pool deck was awesome. The pools were very nice. The archetecture of the stairs going to the top is very pretty.
Our room had an odd, perhaps musty smell. It wasn't repulsive or bad, but it was not an inviting smell upon first entering the room.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
House keeper was in my room chilling when I arrived a day late for reservations. No cart, no cleaning supplies just on her phone in my kitchen. Her kids and male friend were in the hallway, I was very uncomfortable. I was in a rush and needed to leave with my ride again quickly and so I locked my passport in lock box and left suitcase. I returned in 3 or so hours to get my stuff and did not stay because of feeling uncomfortable during check in. Thankfully friends were staying elsewhere so I had place to stay.
