"The hotel is centrally located to the main areas of the city centre and most places of interest are within walking distance. Staff are attentive and pleasant. Hotel is quirky in the fact it is a former prison but the rooms are spacious and clean. "

"The security was very rude and intimidatory. They Would not allow me into the property without my key card. I explained that my friend has the key card and went back to the room early. I was the lead guest in the booking. I had email confirmation, my ID and the card I used to pay. Hotel security still refused me entry. I had to call the reception desk to get approval access. This was 4am. Prior to this rude hiccup I enjoyed my stay. After this incident it put a dampen on the rest of the trip."

"First and foremost, the location cannot be beat. It is so central to everything you need and beautifully situated on the water. The staff at the front desk during the day were all so helpful and kind, really made you feel like you were at home. My wife and I enjoyed the decor of the rooms, a little different than your typical hotel, but more character for sure. Very comfortable beds as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone."
