Italy has a massive industry in the Agritourismo sector. Affordable staying on working farms. this is the direction Locanda Rossovino is heading.
this is a small family run business, and you certainly feel part of the the place when staying.
when we had any problems or questions they were on hand within minutes to deal with it. service was always with a smile.
Its located in the middle of the the countryside down a long gravel road. the small towns of Tuscania and Tarquinia (didn't get to visit) are close by. Tuscania has a vast array of restaurants inside the old town walls.
for children there's swings, climbing frame etc. the swimming pool is fantastic with amazing views or the countryside.
the food is homemade, pasta, cakes, deserts, bread etc. Hats off to them, the homemade pasta was by far the best we had in our travels in Umbria and Tuscany.
If you want a stay with luxury, all the mod cons, this isn't the place for you, but if you want to go back to basics then you'll enjoy your visit.
wishing them all the best for the future.
