Our room (210) was right next to the elevator. One of the elevators had a problem with it as it made a grinding noise all night long as it went up and down. I spoke with the front desk and she stated "a part was ordered and it would get there when it got there". For our safety, we always took the elevator that was not making noises. This needs to be taken seriously. No one wants to get stuck in an elevator. Additionally, the shower head needs to be replaced in room 210. The water goes everywhere.

The first room assigned to me was next to the elevators and one of the elevators was making noise that could be heard in the room. The staff did find me another room. No other issues. Would stay there again.

The hotel Is new or renovated with specious rooms and the staff is friendly. I would give it 5 stars but the noise from the road below was very loud even from the 5th floor with closed windows

The room was very hot despite opening the windows. Reception staff Brian and Tim were notably helpful. Location to the JTNP entrances was a real plus.

Definitely the best choice if visiting for a visit with a Marine family member. However, Twenty Nine Palms has absolutely nothing to offer. There was a daily charge for “tourism”… what a joke! Stater Brothers grocery store was the best attraction the town has to offer! One and done… won’t be back to that town.

Overall, we had a nice 2-night stay while visiting Joshua Tree. The location was convenient, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi was fast, and the breakfast was solid. My reason for deducting 1 star is because we could always hear some noise from the rooms adjacent to us, which could be annoying for light sleepers. But aside from this, we had no issues.
