Very friendly staff and great place for my dog to use the loo. Fridge and microwave were nice to have in the room. Bed had to be one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a while. Very happy with my stay.

Nice Motel 6
This was a nice Motel 6, that was safe and comfortable. It was near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and it was dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and the staff was very friendly.

You could smell the weed your neighbors were smoking through the wall. Only toiletries provided was bar of soap. Staff was super nice and helpful.

A good cheap place to stay plus they allow pets. Close to Joshua Tree. The hotel room is very basic but it has a pool and hot tub, laundry and a good size room fridge.

All facilities are old, need renovations
Staff are nice. However, there was this weird smell in the room that wouldn't go away. The beds were so dirty, it was uncomfortable. There were food crumbs, hair, and even a dead bug on the blankets, and the sheets felt sandy and had black stains. Every single one of the towels had black and yellow stains on them. I probably got dirtier when drying myself after a shower. The entire room was disgusting. Toilet whistles after each flush. All washers and dryers in laundry are out of order!

I really want to give this a better review because the staff were so nice but I can not believe this place has more than 3 stars. The front desk staff were lovely and seemed to care about being responsive when I asked for extra towels and such. It was a convenient location for Joshua Tree and the towels and sheets smelled clean and bleached. However, that's sort of where the good ends. The floor was sticky. When we wiped stuff down with a Clorox wipe it was black after. There was this weird organizer in the bathroom that was just dirty, like the dirty when something isn't ever really cleaned well. We found a hair hanging out of it (one of many found on various solid surfaces) and when we went to remove it found it was attached to a necklace someone had left behind. The dish TV kept cutting on and off. Also when we arrived there was a woman hanging out with her walker and all her stuff in boxes using an extension cord hanging from the 3rd floor to use her iPad. I did ask and it seems like this woman was staying night to night and when her room was booked management offered to move her to another room and she refused (eventually the sheriff came and took her away in an ambulance). Now, this isn't really the motels fault however it does speak to the weird mix of people staying at this place - travellers such as us staying close to the park as well as people without more permanent housing. Also walls are paper thin and it was noisy falling asleep with 3 sound machines on.
