Fun place to stay. You’ll feel like you’re in the Wild West. Everyone was super friendly. There was an outdoor fire that we enjoyed with our guests.

My husband and I stayed for one night and definitely want to return for more exploring and live music. This place looks just like the pictures and was just delightful. The host who checked us in was friendly and helpful. It was a cold night but we turned the wall heater off because it was too noisy for me. The shower was a bit tight for my tall hubby, but otherwise we enjoyed the comfy bed and kitchy decor. Music and food at Pappy Harriet was great!

Great stay in an awesome setting!
Absolutely adorable motel! Such a fun wild west feel, but also clean, comfortable, updated and super friendly staff. I was so glad to have booked here and not in town! Great food at Pappy & Harriet's. I will definitely stay again!

We loved this place! We stayed here while checking out the high desert for the first time. What a beautiful place. Pappy and Harriet's is right next door for great food, and Mane St is right there as well.

An Oasis in the Desert
This was our third visit to Pioneertown, the Motel, and Pappy & Harriet’s, the trifecta of the ultimate unique and wonderfully quirky experience in the California desert. Each year we bring more friends and they fall in love with it. We may make it an annual pilgrimage.
