This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT WATER. In Ubud you don’t absolutely need it, but it would make the first minute of showering more comfy! For those on a budget, I’d still recommend this place for the very convenient and central location. Just be prepared.
