Lovely 2 night hotel stay
Great little break away with my 2 teenage sons. Lovely hotel, big room, dated but I already knew that when I booked, really clean, quality toiletries, comfy beds, good shower, spa is so nice, decent breakfast and staff are lovely. Would definitely book again. Thank you whitewater hotel and spa

Dated internal building. It's like a motel from the 90s Room was freezing when I got in at 9:30pm Went to bed at 10am after a long day only to hear the major A road zoom by every few minutes. Next day went for breakfast. It was very sparse of choice. No pastries during my time there toaster did not toast and staff simply rude. Now the pool area. Simply dated and undying scum. Spend two minutes in the cold pool and left. In daylight the noisy room was like the pool area. Still waiting for a call from the manger, who was to busy to speak with me at checkout.

Great short break
The hotel is great our room was exceptional 304. The staff are courteous. The access to the health club is a real bonus. Only thing that did not feel quite right for us was the breakfast. It felt disjointed, not presented well ie the bread only brown and white sliced just dumped in a pile. Cold plates for a luke warm "hot breakfast" all in all nothing wrong but needs someone to give it an overview.

Relaxing 2 night break
Hotel was clean, warm and welcoming. We booked it for two nights to basically relax using the spa and leisure facilities and it certainly ticked that box. The only negative was that the menu was very limited when it came to vegetarian options an example being a quinoa salad as the only main meal choice in the restaurant.

Shocking service in leisure centre
We stayed here from 1 - 3 October 2024. On Tuesday my wife went into the leisure centre and booked and paid for a small amount of facial treetment. She was given a time of 9.30 the next day (wednesday). When the Wednesday timr arrived she went to have her treatment only to be told it could not be done because the lad who served her had forgotten to mention and also forgotten to arrange a patch test which had to be done. This is appauling service, how can a member of staff forget what seems like a fundamental requirement. My wife was bitterley disappointed that this could not be done for her. When we checked out of the hotel the next daywe mentioned this episode to the member of staff on reception who took notes and told us the manager would contact us by email or phone but this of course has not happened. We would definitely rate this place as shockingly poor and hope that when people read our future social media reviews that people will think twice about coming here.
