Villa I Due Casali, tucked up on a hill dominating the broad surrounding Umbria greenery, is located a few steps away from Preggio, an 11 th century village. The recent renovation kept the original structural characteristics intact, turning it into a comfortable and welcoming property immersed in a well-kept garden. Shapes, building materials, typical rural utensils are brought back to their former glory being carefully tailored to modern technologies. Outer amenities are located in a splendid and attractive position, among green lawns, fruit trees, succulents and aromatic herbs: the wide saltwater pool equipped with sunbeds, parasols and gazebo, a children's playground and a 5-a-side football pitch. Villa I Due Casali can easily host up to 18 people thanks to its 9 spacious double bedrooms all equipped with private bathroom with shower. Bathrooms on the ground floor are equipped to be easily accessible to disabled people. The main building's ground floor has been conceived as a wide living room where to host convivial and relaxing moments either sat down around the dining table or in front of the heat of the fireplace. During hotter seasons it is possible to eat al fresco under the main loggia facing the valley and the green mountains on the horizon. The loggia is directly linked to the spacious and modern kitchen, fully equipped with all utensils and adjacent to the dining room. Two BBQ sets, a botanic garden and local fruit trees are at complete guests disposal and vegetable/fruit can be picked anytime and tasted right away. This territory is worth to be discovered, thanks to its closeness to Florence and Rome (only 2 hours driving) and other Tuscan and Umbria highlights with their food and wine experiences. Trasimeno Lake can also offer plenty of leisure activities such as trekking, horse riding, rafting and caving.
