Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Room and public parts of the hotel are clean. Lobby looks nice and seems like a good place to socialize. Room cleaning schedule can feel a little bit random -- housekeeping doesn't necessarily come every day, though housekeeper did leave me extra towels and shampoo, etc., I guess to cover when they weren't coming. Provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, etc. all smell very nice. Hotel restaurant food is okay, but feels a bit pricey for what you get. You can order takeout to the hotel, and they'll have the delivery folks leave it on a shelf across from the front desk for you. There is a guest laundry room in the basement.

When you stay at a Marriott, you expect a great experience. No hot water in our room for two days. Dirty carpet in room. One chair in king room. Elevator out of service. The towels were very thin. No robes in room. Wallpaper peeling in common areas. Revolving door at lobby broke one night. No microwave. Feral cats chasing mice in the parking lot. Two person room, one packet of coffee. When I complained about the water, the "engineer" to a long time to get to room. We had already taken cold showers. He said that he was very busy. Other guests that we met were up set as well. Very disappointed.

the staff was outstanding....every person we came in contact with was fabulous BUT the hotel is very VERY old and needs refurbishing. everything old and worn. Really time to re do some things. for $350 a night not worth it

The rooms are generally nice, and the downstairs lobby is quite pleasant and attractive, with lots of seating. The bar is open late for those who like that. There is also a restaurant. The food is okay. The soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. offered smells really good. I think staff need to make it clearer that housekeeping is not coming every day. I would have used and stored my towels and used the complimentary shampoo and conditioner differently had I known that no one was coming to replace them the next day.

The hotel is in very good condition, eventhough it seems like it is close to some renovations. But the friendly and helpful staff make all the difference. Will surely return.
