The hotel is located at the end of a short road, right in the middle of 'quietville'. It's impressive and appears well maintained. There is plenty of parking space directly beside the hotel. There's a small patio and several rooms have an outside balcony. It was quite a hot day and waiting in our room were complimentary bottles of fizzy water and glasses, which was very thoughtful. There was no airconditioning, as it rarely ever gets this hot in the area, but a large window could be opened to air the room. The window opening is neatly covered with an insect screen, so it could remain open during the night. The room was spacious enough, having comfortable beds with very soft pillows, plenty of closet space, television with lots of channels, phone for roomservice, and a fast Internet connection. Unfortunately, the bright blue standby light of the television was a little distracting during the night. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi network was open, i.e. not password protected, which means all network traffic of guests was open to snooping! It's easy to rectify, though. Also there was scant shower ventilation, leading to quite a damp bathroom. The hotel was minimally staffed, noticing only two very hospitable employees. There's a small fridge and some snacks at the entrance, for selfservice. The breakfast was ample and delicious, with a very helpful staff member offering coffee, replenishments and well prepared eggs.
The whole experience was accommodating, simple and quite satisfying!
