I had to call downstairs daily to have my air conditioner turned on as it would turn off automatically each day. Very annoying, but otherwise the room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast buffet downstairs is excellent!!

Excellent property in a very desirable area. Walking distance to old town and walking distance to beaches. Right across from Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciencies, close to Jardin de Turia.

Very nice hotel near restaurants, shops and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, clean and affordable. Front desk staff are very friendly. Rooftop restaurant is amazing with unbelievable views and great service from Eduardo!! Breakfast buffet had lots to offer and all very fresh. The restaurant for dinner didnt have enough selection for us. We are not huge fish eaters. The only negative for this hotel would be to clean the windows especially if your room has a view of the amazing architecture nearby.

The hotel was great, i can't say enough about the room it was phenomenal. The surrounding area is alright, there are restaurants within walking distance. The only reason why I didn't give the hotel a 5 star rating is because the staff at the rooftop bar was very rude, they did not make you feel welcomed. We ended up walking to another bar nearby who did provide good and friendly service. Overall it is a great place to stay, the hotel was fantastic as was the front desk staff but, stay away from the rooftop bar.

I had a good stay, it is a very convenient location. The room was nice and had lots of space. If you stay here, I would highly recommend ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones, as it seemed like the windows have no insulation to the outside street noise. And as per Valencia, fireworks late at night and while I was there, a nighttime street marathon with a drumline until about 1am.

I loved my stay at Barcelo Valencia. The hotel is lovely, the staff attentive and helpful and the location perfect. Right next to the riverbed/ park so it is an easy walk to centre of the city or the beach. The science centre/ oceanographic/ conference centre is right by the hotel. Lots of patisserie’s and restaurants nearby as well so easy to find a good place to eat. I had a great stay at this hotel, the room was spacious and the cleaning staff are excellent. I will definitely stay again.
