The desk staff are amazing! The location is right smack dab in the middle of everything you want to see in the old city and the oceanografic and the beach are easy bus rides away. One minor issue was that a previous guest had caused a lot of water damage in and around the bathroom and it needs to be repaired. Also, the elevator is insufficient for the number of rooms at the property.

We’d booked this hotel based on the views it has and location and were very lucky to be allocated one of the rooms with the stunning view! The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel runs a lovely free gimmick where they give you a postcard to write to yourself and they’ll post it back to you on a date of your choice in up to a year’s time. We didn’t book breakfast, preferring to pick up a coffee and pastry whilst out and about. The hotel is really well situated for the metro, airport and general exploration. We also walked to the zoo, went to the beach and aquarium - all well worth a visit. Our hotel room was clean and tidy and the shower was really big. Windows took up a large section of one wall so the room was light, airy and we had a wonderful view. The only issue we had (which is not the hotel’s fault at all) is that during the night, it seems that drunk people like to walk across the big open plaza outside the hotel and shout stupid things as loudly as they can. We experienced this several times on two out of the four nights we were there (Thursday and Friday) between 1am and 5am which woke us up a few times. Again, this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it obviously did affect our overall enjoyment of the stay. We did have a wonderful time in Valencia and in all other aspects, we can’t fault our time there. Don’t let the drunken idiots put you off, but maybe pack some ear plugs just in case :-)

The staff were friendly and welcoming and I really liked the decor and the individuality of each room. I particularly liked looking over the plaza from the balcony. The room was spacious and clean, and I liked the attention to detail. The area felt completely safe (I was travelling alone) and close to all of the main tourist areas, with cafes, shops, and restaurants on your doorstep. Only some very slight gripes…I booked a room with a balcony and, although it was lovely, it wasn’t one of the large rooms with the wrap-around windows/balcony that are used to advertise this standard of room. I’m not sure whether these are the rooms to accommodate more people. There was no mini fridge or coffee maker in the room and the soundproofing in the rooms wasn’t great but I was lucky as people in neighbouring rooms were quiet. As long as you go with these things in mind, you’ll be fine. I would stay there again.

Fine location off Pl de Ayuntamento, in walking distance of both the station and the old quarter. Receptionist Lorenzo very welcoming and helpful. Bathroom a bit cramped and the shower door wasn’t quite watertight.
