Private studio apartment in beautiful Valla Beach, close to beaches and cafes.

Our home is situated just a 10 minute drive from the Pacific Highway and we are an ideal stopover if you are on a road trip.
The one bedroom self contained studio apartment is situated underneath the quiet end of our home and has a private entrance through the surrounding gardens .
The space contains a bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, slow cooker, sandwich toaster and sink , a lounge area with TV and recliner chairs and comfy twin king single beds which can be pushed together if required. Please request on booking.
There is an outdoor dining area with a barbeque.
The home is surrounded by shady tropical gardens and is private.
Off street parking is available at the front of the house and the apartment is reached by a sloping stepped path down to the rear of the property. It is not suitable for anyone with poor mobility (see photos) and is lit by sensor lights at night.
There are two miniature schnauzers, George and Hector who also live here and share the large secure garden.
The property is only a 10 minute walk to miles of unspolit beaches and there is also a pharmacy, two great cafes and a tavern nearby serving delicious food and beverages.

We really enjoyed our stay. Would have liked to stay longer and enjoy the beach etc. Very comfortable and tasteful accommodation. My only suggestion would be if you advertise ‘breakfast included’ that you are slightly more generous with portions. We usually bring our own breakfast to motels but because this property said ‘breakfast included’ we brought nothing. There were 2 small bananas but only 1 orange/mandarin. There was plenty of muesli but not enough milk for 2 if we wanted some in our coffee as well. I had to go and buy yogurt. There was enough bread to make toast for two but barely enough butter and jam for two. We ended not having toast and coffee because we had to leave in a hurry with a bit of an unexpected medical emergency. Would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Julie was a great host, generously offering gluten free options for breakfast. The unit’s lovely & private & in a good location to cafe’s & beaches - short walking distance, or by car if the hill to the beach is a bit steep for you. Once introduced,her two small dogs were welcoming & fun company. The side entrance could be tricky with suitcases, but that could be overcome by just taking down an overnight bag. I’ll definitely be back.

The pathway from the location that you have to park your vehicle to the unit is a bit ordinary. It has steps and crusher dust around concrete squares. You are not able to wheel your suitcase. I think it would be an improvement to have a continuous concrete path.

This property has awkward access over a down hill long rocky path. The room is at the back under the house. It is single beds only. My husband and I left without staying. Very disappointed. I have never heard of accommodation having single beds in a room for 2.
