"A clean, beautiful hotel, with attentive and friendly staff. We were really impressed with this place. They are staffed twenty-four hours a day. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, attractively furnished, with good air conditioning. It's just a few blocks from restaurants, the zocalo, churches, etc. We only stayed one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. They don't have breakfast, but there are a few options nearby. We checked out 3-4 places before sitting down and recommend Marimbo's, a block away."

"The Casa San Juan was a great stay, especially for the price! We like to support locals when we travel & this family owned hotel & restaurant was just that! Very helpful with check-in, housekeeping & service at the restaurant! The room was spacious for 3 adults, the beds were a bit hard, but we slept well. The area was quiet, but we don’t mind waking up to the sound of chickens and turkeys. It is in a neighborhood, not in the city center. We took a 5 minute taxi ride from the bus station to the hotel.($40MX) Front desk was extremely helpful in booking us a private tour to 2 ruins & 2 cenotes! It was a perfect day! The restaurant was so convenient and delicious, we didn’t need to eat anywhere else! Breakfast buffet was delicious! If we return to Valladolid we would not hesitate to stay here again! If you like authentic & local, this your place! "
