This was a mistake on me that I booked in this hotel. Amenities were poor, breakfast and breakfast area was a joke. Just two example when I asked for milk for the oats, I was told to use small tiny milk container you use for coffee and tea. Second, the orange juice was offered in a pitch style jug and it was watered down all three mornings. There was no iron in the room.

The Happy Day Inn is located 6 blocks away from where i grew up as a kid in Burnaby. Was excellent to be close by childhood area, as well close to amenities in town. The staff were very friendly & kind, i highly recommend staying here especially for solo travelers

Very small beds , they wrote its queen but i believe it was twin.Bathroom curtain and blankets very dirty. They left water bottles in the fridge and then charge us in the morning, how stupid is that. Cheap hotel

Clean rooms, didn’t appreciate how involved one clerk was watching cameras and asking questions. Younger staff friendly and welcoming. The nosey clerk could use some pointers from the younger polite staff. Maintence guy super friendly and kind. Breakfast was good, consists of fresh bagels, muffins from Timmy’s and hot coffee, fresh OJ, as well as instant oatmeal available and fresh fruit options. Would repeat my stay if the one clerk didn’t turn me off with her mannerisms. If in a pinch and looking for decent price this place is clean and safe.
