Terrible area. We could see junkies smoking crack on the street mid afternoon. Our room stinked old humidity and sewers, they try to cover it with cheap air freshener but it just makes it worse. The hotel is on top of a restaurant that turns into a disco, it was as if I was sleeping on speakers. I could not sleep at all, had to be moved to the higher floors at midnight so I could get a few hours of sleep. Once on the higher floor, the room we had was smelling ok and we could finally sleep, but the experience was ruined nonetheless. The staff was accomodating in trying to find a solution and other than the smell, the rooms are clean, that's the only positive from our stay. Don't get fooled by the photoshopped pictures and the star ratings, pay 100$ more and go to much nicer offerings in Vancouver.

The hotel was great but when you walked around the area there were alot of people laying on the sidewalks drugged up and passed out.The city should do a better job to help these young people.

Property has only one elevator, which is used by the hotel staff. There is no separate service elevator, making getting around very time consuming. While some of the staff was just nice, some others are barely friendly.

Property was great. I did book the superior room but our room seemed small and looked just like the pics of the classic room. I asked them about it and assured me room 508 was a superior room, so keep that in mind when booking. Not sure where the they would of taken the extra room from for the classic. The road along the back of the hotel is full of clubs and is a little iffy on the weekends, but the other direction was just fine. Overall for a hotel in the city it was really nice. About a 10/15 min ride from everywhere we wanted to go and was on main roads which made it easy enough to walk to food and find our way around. Staff was very nice and helpful.
