Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was small but that was perfect for one night and very clean. Shared bathroom was nice and clean also. Could provide a little bit better breakfast option besides coffee. Good property.

Overall a good stay, but the room had a leaking faucet that would not stop leaking at all times. The heating is done by radiator which is terribly inconsistent. I found myself too hot or too cold on all nights, not great in winter. The bed was mailed into the middle of the room for no reason, leaving a large gap by the wall. No visitors after 10PM, friends or anyone. Kind of like a parents house. Overall they seem to have some kind of hidden purpose I must have missed because the rooms are terrible. Slightly above a hostel. Good amenities, shared washrooms are cleaned frequently enough. Clean linens available.

The hotel is very cute and its location is great! You can literally walk to many places within downtown. The only reason I am not giving it a five stars is because you can hear a lot of street noise. But I will definitely be staying here again in my next trip to Vancouver.

I found this a safe & relatively inexpensive way to enjoy Vancouver. The rooms are very small. and there are clean, shared washrooms. Visitors are not allowed after 11:00 which contributed to a quiet experience and safety. With correct expectations (no amenities like TV) -- This was a good way for me to afford Vancouver. There is a refundable $100CAD credit card deposit required at the beginning of your stay. Staff is knowledgable & friendly. Ask ahead about parking as the garage can close on Sundays (and after hours) and the front desk can walk to open the garage for you. I would like for it to be a little less expensive.

There is no in room coffee maker or a fridge, but other than that everything was wonderful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located walking distance to Rogers Arena, BC Place, and all the theatres on Granville Street. Lots of good eateries nearby

So disappointed I took photos for proof. More like a hostel than a hotel.  Amazed that Expedia even offers "hotel" rooms with no private bathroom. Mgmt said there were two bathrooms down the hall. One of the two toilets was out of order during my entire stay. What hotel does not promptly fix a toilet? Room's desk lamp did not work on arrival, but was fixed on request. Room was dark because one of two overhead bulbs was not installed. Second bulb was never installed even after two requests. No tv or radio. In-room hot and cold sink faucets were separate - not joined - and faucets were spring-operated, so I had to constantly hold each faucet to get either very cold or very hot water. Had to use hall sink for modern faucets and adequate lighting over mirror. When I opened wardrobe, a moth flew out. (I killed it, but never used wardrobe after that.) Hall carpet had sour odor, needed shampooing. Mgr subsequently emailed me to ask that I write review on Expedia. I responded to mgr personally with above concerns.  Mgr never acknowledged, so this is my review. Positives: convenient location, quiet room, comfortable bed, clean towels daily.

Old style Hotel. Rooms on just 3 floors.It does feel expensive for what it is but its all comparative and everywhere else I looked was alot more expensive. It was fine for a two night stay. It was in a convenient location and everywhere walkable.Ensuite would have been nice but a shared bathroom worked out ok. There are male and female dedicated bathrooms as well mixed. There is a laundry room which was very handy and tea/coffee was provided in the mornings on the ground floor. It is basic and there are no bells and whistles but if you are just after somewhere to sleep it is fine.

As soon as I walk into the building, they give you a key. Go upstairs, look in the room. It was so d*** small. The bed was a single bed, very uncomfortable. No television in no bathroom, I had to share a bathroom with a sink in the guy. It's very f****** tiny. There's no way I was staying there as soon as I saw the place I got out and went and found a different hotel
