Booked from Saturday to Wednesday. I was in town to adopt a dog. The property is pet friendly. I wasn’t going to get to see the dog until Sunday and we weren’t going to try and get the dog to spend the night until Monday or Tuesday. I told the person at check in all of this and he said we won’t charge you unless the dog spends the night. He can visit but if he spends long periods of time alone or spends the night we will have to charge you. The dog only spent Monday and Tuesday night and they charged me for all 4 nights and refuse reimburse me. The dog doesn’t shed and didn’t damage anything. The hotel is a dump. It’s just worth it for the location and it being pet friendly.

Not delivering good value for $$
Stayed many times. Paid more than ever before, and the condition of our room was the worst I’ve seen. The shower curtain was missing grommets and being held up by a twist tie (seriously). The shower head had someone else’s hair stuck to it. Dust on many surfaces, and the carpets could have used a vacuum. The coffee maker had dried out coffee grounds left in it from a previous guest, and the coffee being offered was terrible. The room furniture and amenities were tired, and poorly maintained. We stayed 3 days, 2 nights and there was zero room cleaning done. The bed sagged in the centre, and the bath towels were of poor quality and small. At $500-$600 a night, it was a complete disappointment. Yes, we were staying during a big event weekend, but if you charge that rate, offer that comparable level of quality and service to your guests. I will compliment the upgrades to the outdoor pool area, that was a nice addition since our last stay. All staff we encountered were friendly. They charged like a 5 star, but were nowhere close in delivery.

Price and location were great for a quick visit to Vancouver. Close to English Bay fireworks show, and the huge “after party” along Davie made it a fun trip!

This is a perfect location for all of Davies Street activities. And an easy walk to the beach. Very comfortable suite/bed, with a nice balcony and kitchen area. And the pool was great! The neighborhood can be a bit sketchy at night, just be aware.

Still good choice
Enjoyed our stay. Request for extra towels was prompt. Garbage emptied and room swept or vacuumed daily or every 2nd day would have been appreciated. Noticed when something on floor fell and wiping floor was sand and a dirty floor from the colour of the paper towel. During the 3 night stay our room was not attended too from what we could tell. The renovated rooms are nice. Heat controls in the bedroom but no air conditioning or opening window so could get a little warm, could help if main air conditioner left on in main area. Very convenient location!

Loved this hotel. Decent price for the summer in Vancouver. Close to everywhere you want to go downtown. Super new renovated room (we were in 2204 ) washer dryer dishwasher gorgeous view great sunny Pool area. Good for kids or couple or girls trip anything
