My husband and I stayed here for our 36th wedding anniversary... We loved that the beach was private, you cannot see any other hotels from the beach, that was awesome! Water was not like a calm tropical island, had waves but it was soooo warm, and we loved it! We were there the last week of April... Almost had beach to ourselves the beginning of the week but by Thursday that started to change... Only one restaurant/bar on the property which is located between the pool and the beach...food was actually pretty good, and waitstaff was friendly. We lucked out with the weather, they called for rain almost daily but it didn't rain until our last afternoon... Also, didn't know that PR has a big issue with stray dogs...but stray dogs wander onto the beach, they will take food from you but have no desire to be touched... we did see a liter of puppies on the side of the road a few times when we were heading out of property so that was a bit sad. Guests are instructed not to feed the dogs but kinda hard to not do when they look hungry/thirsty. They also have wild horses on the property but we did not see any... Our room was great, we had a full kitchen which we used a few times to make breakfast...washer/dryer access was convenient... Definitely quiet part of PR and you need to drive 10-20 mins to get to other restaurants but overall we were happy with the location and the resort, and we would definitely go back : )

This property shows great and "phenomenal" reviews on different sites but I'm my opinion, it is just ok. It is located about 45 minutes from SJU in a town called Dorado. The beach was beautiful, if a tad rough. Most of the guests were locals and a few Americans from the south. The food options consist of whatever the single restaurant on the promises offer. The menu is mostly local grub and beers. Most guests would bring their own coolers with food, I guess because they already knew the deal. I saw a lot of people ordering Uber Eats it going to town to find some place to eat. On our service day after realizing the food situation was not optimal, we went to a local Walmart to buy coffee, bread, cheese and some fruits and yogurt. Once we had that we could focus on having a good stay. The pools are big and there are two, decent sized warm jacuzzis where people lingered until midnight some nights. We ended up having an on stay because the place offers quietness and isolation, which is what we needed to unwind and rest. I wouldn't call this place great or exceptional, but for what we needed it served us ok.

This was our first time visiting Puerto Rico, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. My husband, teenage daughter, and I stayed at this hotel and were genuinely impressed by the beautiful grounds and overall atmosphere. Everything felt safe and welcoming, which allowed us to truly relax and recharge. The amenities were fantastic plenty of dining and shopping options nearby made it easy to enjoy our time without needing to venture far. The staff was friendly, and the property was well-maintained, adding to the sense of comfort throughout our stay. We stayed in a studio room with a king bed and a queen pullout sofa. While the setup worked for the three of us, the space was quite cramped. It was a bit tricky to maneuver around the room, especially when trying to access the patio door or sit at the small table and chairs. We found ourselves bumping into the corner of the pullout sofa more than once. That said, the overall experience was still wonderful, and we’d absolutely consider staying here again perhaps in a larger room next time. Thank you for helping make our first Puerto Rico trip so memorable!

The room is amazing and the pool too. Helpful staff. And a nice restobar to get your piña coladas or have some delicious food. Gorgeous beach but prone to waves due to the location. Only downside with the room was the bathroom sink, that has a weird contemporary flat design and it doesn't drain very well, so if you shave for example everything stays there. Also no counter space room for the ladies that wanna do their makeup.
