SUMMARY
Only 300 m from the village center of Almayates and one kilometer from the beach - on the only undeveloped stretch of coast on the Costa del Sol. Málaga and the airport can be reached in 30 minutes.
The house as well as the separate apartment are very stylishly decorated and newly renovated. Private, fully enclosed garden of 1000 m² with lawn, various seating areas, terrace areas, pool area and a panoramic view of the sea. Feels like in the country - and somehow in the middle.

THE ACCOMMODATION
The tasteful and stylish furnishings alone make our accommodation stand out from other 0815 holiday properties with pragmatic equipment, which is no longer a shame. With us you will find high-quality furniture, coordinated textiles, exquisite crockery and cutlery, special decorative objects and unusual art on the walls. Arrive - and immediately feel at home.
The main house has three double bedrooms and two bathrooms - one of them en-suite, the other with a bath - a large, open kitchen and a spacious dining and living area with a fireplace. There is also an independent apartment with a separate entrance and outdoor area, its own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Apart from two (avoidable) steps in the main house, the accommodation is at ground level and therefore perfectly suitable for very young as well as older people. Depending on your preference, we can set up extra (children's) beds for you.
The entire property is newly renovated, all installations and electrical appliances are brand new.
The 1000m² property is completely fenced, private and secluded. The house is surrounded by a terrace with covered and open seating areas, right next to it is a brick barbecue. In the garden you will find spacious lawns, flower and herb beds and fruit trees - depending on the season you can pick grapes, figs, oranges, nisperos, apricots or tomatoes.
The curved salt water pool is the ideal place to cool off on hot summer days with a 180-degree view of the Mediterranean. And there is a counter-current system for the swimming enthusiasts.

THE ENVIRONMENT
A rural idyll, a wonderful view of the sea, unspoilt landscapes and the mountains - and a stone's throw from the village or the beach.
From shops, bars, restaurants and playgrounds within walking distance to good bus connections to an unspoiled surrounding area, Almayate has pretty much everything you need - right on the only undeveloped stretch of coast on the Costa del Sol.
The popular nudist beach Almanat is only 600 m from the nearest beach point - you have the choice between chiringuitos (beach bars) that clothed people like to see ... or not.
The next largest town, Torre del Mar, is four kilometers away. Small or large boutiques, shops, bars, restaurants of all classes, ice cream stalls, cafes, discos, night clubs and pubs are lined up here. The beach promenade is miles long and really beautiful - for walking, strolling, rollerblading, cycling or even for a mandatory stopover for tapas and wine drinking.
Further west of Málaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella, Ronda, Estepona, Gibraltar or Tarifa, east of Vélez-Málaga, Nerja, the white villages or Granada - how about a small day trip? And even in Cordoba or Seville you can be in under two hours by car ...
There are several bus stops in Almayate that offer good connections in all directions several times an hour. Whether Torre del Mar, Veléz-Malaga, Nerja or Málaga - you can easily get anywhere from the house if you don't want to rent a car or don't feel like looking for a parking space.
There is a private parking lot directly at the house, but you can also park your car in front of it or offer guests parking facilities.

OUR SERVICE
We live in the immediate vicinity and are happy to be there for you should you need help or tips. You can also count on us to organize extra requests - airport transfer, taxi, boat trip, cooking and breakfast service, massage or whatever.
If you want, we can also take you by the hand and show our personal hot spots. And in any case you have to plan a stop in our bar in Torre del Mar so that we can invite you for a drink.
In the hot summer months, a gardener comes over every day to water the flowers and clean the pool, which is less common in the off-season. We are happy to coordinate the times.
For longer stays, we offer a free cleaning service with a change of bed after two weeks (by arrangement). But of course you can also afford this luxury more often - we organize it for you.
If you don't want to use the apartment, please contact us and we will agree on a reduced price if you don't mind that we or other tenants can access it.

TYPE OF HOLIDAY
Depending on whether you love it loud and shrill or calm and relaxed, depending on the season, you will always find the right thing for every taste in and around Almayate.
The beach is actually only well attended in the peak season - the Spanish school holidays from the end of June to the beginning of September (although by no means like a ball).
From mid-September to mid-June, the beach is almost deserted, especially during the week, perhaps apart from one or two isolated anglers. Nevertheless, some chiringuitos are open and you can enjoy your grilled fish in peace with a view of the sea. Correspondingly untouristic - apart from the well-known public holidays - the time is also in the village.
In the summer months, one fiesta follows the other. All surrounding villages have their own Feria (fun fair) with dance, stands and rides. The three-day music festival "Weekend Beach" in Torre del Mar has also made a name for itself in recent years and attracts crowds from near and far.
The most important village event takes place on the first Sunday in May - the Romería, a spectacle that is really worth seeing. On this day, the entire Almayate population throws their traditional flamenco dresses and suits, the specially bred bulls of their own genus are beautifully decorated and stretched in front of colorfully clad wooden wagons, and then the kilometer-long train accompanied by countless horses moves from here Torre del Mar in a secluded park for a picnic. A must-see for all fans of Spain.
Easter is very important in Spain - especially in Veléz-Málaga (approx. 9 km away) the colorful street parades take place over an entire week.
During the winter months and also around Christmas, even in Torre del Mar it is very relaxed, the Spaniards tend to stay among themselves. So how about X-mas shopping in Malaga? The holiday lighting is definitely worth seeing. And as soon as the sun is shining, you are still dressed warm in your T-shirt.

A great place to spend holidays at!
We stayed at Anna’s villa during the heat of August and loved every second if it. Anna is a gracious host snd welcomed us with cold drinks. The villa was clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The swimming pool kept us cool and had wonderful views of the ocean. It exceeded our expectations, and we'd rate it 5/5. Lovely villa with easy access to village and Torre Del Mar. Anna was and excellent helpful host and quick to respond to any queries. Only issue I would raise was cleaning the pool was a bit awkward . Would highly recommend a family stay here.

Oasis near the Sea
The Cortijo is a beautifully designed and spacious Oasis near the sea. In an area with almost no touristic fuzz you'll experience an authentic stay at the Costa del Sol. We loved staying at the villa. It was clean and tidy and obviously well looked after. The owners were really helpful. The villa was spacious and well equipped and they even left welcome drinks for us. Even though it was really hot outside the house stayed nice and cool. A big plus point for us was the gardens. They were totally secure so our dogs were able to play outside without any worry. The casita was perfect for the friends that came with us. Totally self contained but near enough for us to enjoy their company.

Erwartungshaltung nicht erfüllt
Beschreibung dieses Objekt passte nicht zum Zustand dieses Hauses . Das Haus und das Grundstück wirkten vernachlässigt und nur oberflächlich instandgehalten . Eine Vielzahl von Nachbar Katzen verunreinigte den Garten und war somit für ein Krabbelkind nicht geeignet . Die zahlreichen Mängel aufzuführen würde den Rahmen sprengen .z.B. Durch gelegene Matratzen , Defekte Haushaltsgeräte , ein vollkommen verdreckt der Kinder Hoch Stuhl etc. preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis steht in keinem Verhältnis zueinander . Keiner der acht Erwachsenen Reise Teilnehmer kann dieses Haus weiter empfehlen !

Tolles Haus mit schönem Pool
Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet und hat einen Garten mit Pool und Blick auf das Meer. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und das kleine Dorf ist direkt unterhalb des Hauses. Ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man einen Supermarkt und einen Bäcker. Auch das Restaurant im Ort ist sehr gut und zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Strände in der Nähe sind wirklich toll und wir waren fast täglich in einer der tollen Strandbars. Ann-Kathrin ist eine ganz herzliche Vermieterin und hat uns mit Kaltgetränken empfangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Una bonita casa, limpia y totalmente recomendable
Las dos casas están completamente reformadas y decoradas con mucho gusto. Todo estaba muy limpio. El jardín está cuidado y completamente cercado, lo cual es muy útil cuando vas con perritos o con niños. La piscina no es muy grande pero suficiente para una familia. Los propietarios son muy amables y atentos, y están dispuestos a ayudarte con cualquier problema que pueda surgir. Por decir algo negativo, en el jardín no hay sombrillas, así que recomendaría que se pusiera algo de sombra. También decir que no hay cortinas en los baños. Recomendaría esta casa al cien por cien, y volvería sin dudar.
