This is a beautiful hotel. Very comfortable beds. Had a wonderful stay here. The breakfast was an additional bonus, which we truly enjoyed.

beautiful art! Comfortable rooms. You cannot remove anything from breakfast room, like a piece of fruit or toast. Difficult to find unless you get off the ferry at the San Marco piazza. The directions we had from the hotel were to get off at a different stop and we wandered around for an hour! asking for directions here and there to get to the hotel. The hotel staff was not fluent enough in English to give good directions.

Very conveniently located. Walkable to eveything. Our room had canal view and there is a gondola stop just steps away from the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location with stunning canal views from our balcony. It was surreal to see the gondolas passing by so close. The property itself is very old and could use some updating. However, the high ceilings in the rooms made it feel very grand. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the AC worked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served daily and it was actually pretty decent. There were always eggs bacon and a side dish of either rice or vegetables and plenty of fruits and pastries.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Only reason I gave 4 stars is there is a sewer smell in your hotel room in the morning on the lower floors. Ask for higher floors if you can. Perfect location and taking a water taxi from train station directly to hotel amazing!

Wonderful stay! We initially got a room with a canal view that was decent. It was fine at first but it had a weird sewage smell the next day. We complained to the staff and the receptionist immediately upgraded us to their best room. Overall excellent service. Staff is very welcoming. Would stay here again

After a bit of a rocky start with no air conditioning, a room safe that did not work and an uneven hallway that we tripped on several times (3rd floor), we really grew to like this hotel and the wonderful guys and lady at the front desk, and the ladies in charge of the bar. Just a note American travelers... the A/C is not set in the room, it is controlled by the hotel. The window opened, and the breeze was cool and great, but the mosquitos were a problem. So, I would stay here again... location is great, but make sure the A/C is on if you travel to Venice in May through the hot months,
