We stayed at Aqua B to celebrate a landmark anniversary. The location is great, being just 10 minute walk from St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. Downside was that there was absolutely no view from the window and the number of steps up to the room (53 to be exact). We had a suite on the top floor. The room was great. Very spacious and well equipped. No English TV channels (can't complain about that though being in Italy), and the air con was a bit noisy. Decor was gorgeous and the room was exactly as pictured on-line.
The rooms are detached from the main hotel, and just a short walk away down an alleyway. However you will be treated as a hotel guest and can have breakfast in the main eating area or in your room. Staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful and we also had a complimentary water taxi trip to Morano to see glas blowing from the Hotel dock.
Would definitely recommend, as long as you don't mind stairs.
This was a really nice room and location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bed and breakfast attached to a more upscale hotel. The staff was incredible and very friendly. They bring a complimentary breakfast to your room and you have a decent amount of options for breakfast. The room was pretty big and had a separate sitting area. Plugs were minimal unfortunately, the ones in the bedroom area were mostly covered by the headboard of the bed, so we had to use the one in the sitting area, but that was the only thing that really could be improved. It was in a great location and easy to get back to and close to everything we came to see. We would have loved to stay there longer and would definitely come back for a second stay.

For $300 this isn’t worth it, it’s fine but definitely overpriced..
We stayed in the B&B operated by the Aqua Palace Hotel. Breakfast can be served in your room or you can go to the delicious full service buffet in the main hotel just a few steps away. Front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. They helped us with navigating the city, restaurant recommendations and train tickets. The location is close to St Marks but in a quiet, out of the way corner away from the crowds. We stayed in a jr suite with a bedroom separate from the living space (however there is no door) and the bathroom was large and clean with double vanity and shower (no tub). There is no elevator so you do have to hike up stairs to your room. A bellman will happily bring up your luggage. We took a complimentary boat offered by the hotel over to Murano. When we arrived a man met us on the dock and took us into one of the glass manufacturers. We saw a master glassmaker at work and then toured through their showrooms. It’s a sales pitch for sure which was a little uncomfortable but it was a unique experience. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend Aqua B to friends!
FYI - we arrived by train then took the ferry to the Rialto stop and it is a short walk from there. You can walk to the hotel but, beware, you will go up and down several sets of stairs to go over canal bridges.
We loved our stay at this hotel! Best location as everything felt a short walk away. It was surprisingly quiet despite the central location. The breakfast was great - no complaints! The bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable but I like a soft bed and squishy pillows and this was more firm. Still, next time we’re in Venice we’d love to stay here again!
Definitely worth the price, which was also not exorbitant. The room service breakfast was great (they also have soy milk if you write in) and the room itself was lovely. The towels were nice, the bed was comfortable, and the service was very professional. The shower was a bit messed up but nothing serious. Highly recommend!
We stayed at Aqua B, which is a separate building from the hotel. The room was great. Had everything we needed. The only thing I had to ask for was an iron and they brought it to me within minutes. Great service. Breakfast was good as well. And the front desk staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Loved the location, close everything but to crowded.
