We stayed in the junior suite. It was very nice! Staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and coordinating the water taxi to the airport. The only thing to note is that expedia says there is on site laundry as well as a laundry service which is not true. Also, the tub is a jacuzzi but they have it disconnected due to the noise.

I visited with my mum on our first trip to Venice in mid September. I spent ages researching accommodation and I am so pleased I found this hotel. Location wise it was perfect. Everything is within walking distance. The staff were exceptional and really welcoming, with lots of ideas for our stay. We had drinks on the outside terrace one night and it was lovely, as were the cocktails. We also loved the buffet breakfast. We were spoilt for choice. I remember reading other reviews and have no idea why anyone would take issue with this spread. There was something for everyone. Whilst the hotel was a little dated in places, it is exactly what I would expect for such a historical location and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and staff! A wonderful appointed property, accommodating staff, lovely breakfast and service AND evening reception. This property was so close to everything but away from all the crowds on the grand canal. We loved the easy water taxi access from the airport and for all the attractions, including the gondolas. When we return ,we are definitely staying here!

We loved our stay at Ai Cavaleri! The staff went above and beyond to guide us in setting up a water taxi to the airport at the crack of dawn, gave us tour and restaurant suggestions. The hotel was beautiful with lots of artwork on the ceilings and walls. Gorgeous marble bathrooms with his and her showers, huge tub and large room with chandeliers. Walking distance to St. Marks Square, Rialto Bridge, Doge’s Palace and all the restaurants and shops. A private water taxi pulls right up to the hotel for convenience with all of your luggage. It was also surprisingly very quiet. We didn’t hear a thing while sleeping. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you ! 😊

A lovely and very conveniently located hotel. We had one of the more basic rooms and it was perfectly fine and of a size expected for the price. The room was nicely decorated in a traditional style. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular the barman who made me a mean margarita. The terrace is small but nice, giving good shelter from the sun.

The building is fantastic and you get a real sense of Venice. Its nestled away close to the Duomo and great shopping. The best thing was the staff which were sonoleasant and accomadating. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay
