I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!!
Incredible hotel! From the moment we arrived at the front desk we were treated so warmly. We were early for check in by several hours and they welcomed us anyway with our room that was ready and beyond what we expected. The room was gorgeous, huge, and had the most amazing patio/balcony with a view of the canal! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!!

Great location. My room overlooked the canal which was cool for the last night. My room lacked warmth, the bed was hard. The morning staff was very friendly, the bell hops happy to help you. Afternoon and evening staff was grumpy and put me off.

Great service from start to finish. The property and rooms were very clean. We had the deluxe room with canal view which was exceptional. Great location and perfect for a family stay. Preferred this area to San Marco with a toddler. Plenty to do but not as congested. Lots of great restaurants nearby with outdoor seating.

Great location, close to the station. Decor a bit faded glory. Amenities lacking - no iron available, just the laundry service. Not much use when your clothes are clean but could use ironing. Bar by the canal but weirdly didn’t seem in much use. No table service or much service at all. Very odd given the location, view and its potential.

We recently stayed at Hotel Principe, and I must say the location is absolutely perfect. Situated 5 minutes from the station, it offers easy access to all the major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and getting around. For 9.50 €/pp , We took the bus (no.5) to get to the airport - duration approx.30min. The highlight of the stay was definitely the view facing the canal. The breakfast selection was varied and fresh, catering to different tastes with a range of fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and even local specialties. Overall, if you’re looking for a well-located hotel with a great morning meal, this is a solid option.

Great hotel!! Location, decor, service, breakfast, bar, all on point! Along the main canal and lots of restaurants and shopping all nearby. Also gondolas close by! I will stay there again! We had a beautiful room with two windows and both camel view!

Good hotel just a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Lovely hotel and very clean. Right on the grand canal - extremely noisy from the boats all night long so you have to have the windows shut! Comfortable bed. No kettle in the room but a Nespresso machine and fridge in our room. Water taxi (vaparetto) from Marco Polo takes about 30 mins and costs 15 euros one way per person. However a crippling amount if you want to get a water taxi back (150 euros!) or a taxi (you have to walk to the bus station to get a taxi) we were told 110 euros! We caught a bus back to the airport for just 10 euros each and a 20 minute bus ride. Breakfast was lacking - coffee out of a machine and not much choice - hot buffet and pastries. and fruit but not much for people who like yoghurt or vegetarian. Couldn’t eat in the hotel the whole time we were there in the evening unless in the sushi restaurant as the hotel had events going on for weddings and private parties. Staff attentive and changed our first room as it wasn’t what we thought we were getting (canal de luxe room) but gave us a lovely room with balcony. Not great to eat outside at certain times when the boats were loading up bags due to boat fumes. Overall ok but expensive.
